My primary goal for going to school is to get my education so I can have a brighter future and make an impact in my community. When I go to school, I want to major in biology and obtain my bachelor's degree. After I have received my bachelor's degree, I want to start my graduate studies in medical school. My primary career goal that I want to achieve is to work in healthcare. I want to become a pediatrician, after I finish my education. I want to help children and treat them for common illnesses and diseases. I chose to do this because I want every child to be able to reach their
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed sharing stories with others. As a child, I would tell stories in any way I could. I would draw pictures, write short stories, and tell stories to anyone who would be willing to listen.
Getting a job is probably the most worrisome matter for college seniors. Nowadays most students deem college education as an investment that can eventually bring profits in the long run in terms of a financially successful career. To this end, a great number of students major in the most lucrative majors, which are not their actual interests. Luckily, I am able to dive into the field I love in college, and it blends with my career goal perfectly. I like teaching and conducting research, so I hope to become a psychology professor at a research university some day.
Coming from a small family were most aren't able to actually pursue their career goals, I've the determination to be the first in the family to actually go and pursue my goal no matter how hard it might get, especially when it comes to financially being able to get my self through school. I had the advantage of going to Jack E Singley Academy, a public magnet school which they helped students like my self go into the field they desire at an early stage and help us obtain hands on experience within that field. Being in the Medical program in Singley helped me decided what i really wanted to do with my life and it actually helped me want to reach my goals even more. I would hope to someday become an ER Doctor, and of course that will take several
Something special in my life is that I’ve always been around little kids, most of my cousins have kids and my family doesn’t really have teenagers it’s only me and sister and the rest are younger. So my whole live I’ve been surrounded by younger kids and I have experience, and I’m really good with children. I like teaching them something new me and my sister taught my little brother and niece how to multiply before they learned in school and that was fun and happy seeing them learn something. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher since I was little it was always on my mind and till this day I still would like to become a teacher for elementary schools.
I have known from an early age that I’ve wanted to become a doctor. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, after working with young children I have found that I love working with them, and have a connection with children. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a neonatologist or a general pediatrician so I can continue to work with young children.
Did you know that statistics show that the average American spends 40 hours a week watching TV (Chambers, 2015)? Some Americans spent 121 billion minutes a month on social media. Those numbers are astonishing. Before starting college, I may have heard TV that much, at least, yet was too active to sit while listening to watch it. As for Facebook, I was active, possibly not that much, but some of my friends thought I died because I no longer have time to write my daily comic novels in the life of Rhondaism's, as they refer to it; or sadly even say hi.
I started my college career without a clear objective. In my youth once things became hard I stopped preforming and moved quickly on to another goal. I was not focused and felt I lacked the dedication needed in order to successfully preform in academic life. I was able to get by and graduate but my GPA suffered.
You may not look at my transcripts or my application and know that I am a perfect student, but you should know that I am determined and I do not stop trying until I reach my goals. I have overcome many obstacles to get where I am today. It took over four years for me to earn my Associate in Science from City Colleges of Chicago. On the surface, it may seem like I was procrastinating, but I completed many extra courses and went back to better my grades after personal circumstances made it seem impossible. At times, I repeated courses simply because I knew I could do better. I suffered illness, injury and personal loss, but I never gave up on my desire for higher education.
I have many future educational and career goals. First of all, educationally, I would like to graduate high school with honors. After graduating high school, I hope to continue on to college and obtain an Associate's Degree in Biology, and then attend nursing school to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Career wise, I would like to begin as a registered nurse. However, ultimately I hope to obtain a Master’s of Science in Nursing and have the possibility to become a nurse practitioner. While these dreams are ambitious, I truly believe that I am prepared to accomplish my goals because of my life experiences.
I am writing this letter to have some idea of what I desire out of college, what I hope, want, and must work for to get where I want to go, what things I think I still need to make it academically, what I have learned so far about college, what I worry about, and lastly, who or what can help me during my college experience.
My goal is to be in the business school of the college I attend and pursue a concentration in management or marketing.
My career goals this year is to attend Florida International University Nursing Program. I decided to have a jump start with my internship at Jackson Hospital Memorial Hospital, this is my main community activity as I provide meaningful one-on-one experience with the patients. I have extended my community activities at The Frost Science Museum annual Summer Camp as I provided an interactive and engaging classroom environment for the kids who are interested in science. The Primary Learning Center is my other community service project to help tutor students. I am academically ahead in coursework by a school year. Currently taking all AP/honors classes. Heavily involved in the Student Government Association as recording secretary/vice president
Future goals a daunting yet exciting word one everyone asks you from the first day of school to a conversation starter. This question was always hard for me to answer, it always made me ponder what do I want to achieve with my life. Although the answer was always right in front of me. The summer after sixth grade my mother forced me to participate in a Vex robotics class through College of the Desert even with my strong protests. A few hours in I felt as if what I was doing just clicked. And I could visualize in my mind what I wanted to create before creating the robot in mind. My first robot I created without instructions was a two wheeler robot and much to my surprise the instructor informed me that I was his first student to construct a
My ultimate goal in my career is to make a commendable contribution to the computing world either by starting an innovative venture or doing research which would change the dimensions of future computing and the way we perceive the computers. Now I have determined that a dedicated higher study on Computer Science will enable me to aggregate all my previous knowledge & experience on the field and encourage in achieving my career goal. I am looking at Graduate studies to provide me with the required expertise to carry out higher studies.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
