Coming from a small family were most aren't able to actually pursue their career goals, I've the determination to be the first in the family to actually go and pursue my goal no matter how hard it might get, especially when it comes to financially being able to get my self through school. I had the advantage of going to Jack E Singley Academy, a public magnet school which they helped students like my self go into the field they desire at an early stage and help us obtain hands on experience within that field. Being in the Medical program in Singley helped me decided what i really wanted to do with my life and it actually helped me want to reach my goals even more. I would hope to someday become an ER Doctor, and of course that will take several
years of school education and degrees to obtain before even being able to get into Medical School. Having little to no resources i know i will have to work hard to get through my education but like my mother always told me "You're only human, theres only so much you can handle" , i know it will be hard for me. My main major focus area would be Pre-Medice in which i will obtain an Associates degree first and then transfer to Texas A&M Commers to finish the other two year and obtain my Bachelors degree in Pre-Medice and Biology. This will be only the beginning of my education, after all i do have to go to Medical School after doing the four year undergraduate plan. Coming from a family were getting a High School Diploma is like getting your PHD to them, all of them have low hopes and expectations, my family isn't necessary the supporting type. I can't tell them about my goals and dreams, but to them it might be something out of a Disney movie where fantasies do happen. I know what want in life, i know the kind of future that will be waiting ahead of me and for the reason no matter how much sweat and tears I must shed to get their and all the hard work and dedication i must do, I'm determined to not only prove everyone wrong but to also prove to my self that when you have a heart and mind thats willing to to get you where you have to be, your accomplishments will happen.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done”. This quote from Nelson Mandela comes to mind when describing why I aspire to become a Physician Assistant. It has always been a great motivation and inspired me not to get discouraged with failure; rather look forward for your goals. Frequently, it takes many trials and lack of success as well as achievements, for one to truthfully discover him/herself. I instinctively progressed through the motions of life. Many options were available and choosing a career as I grew up kept altering, until one day when I saw how helping other people is my sole purpose of life. Getting to know more of physician assistant drove me into the thoughts of pursuing it as a career.
After reading the article of A Football Martyr, the problem being identified is the controversy of how Jack Trice died. Was it because he was African American? Was it unintentional and an accident? Or was it intentional without discriminating Jack Trice? We will never find out the truth of this matter, but we can learn from it and pay our respects. This problem relates to the controversy of the death of Jack Trice and if the Jack Trice stadium should be named after him. This topic is important to anyone who wanted to know how the Jack Trice stadium receives its name because it's important to learn about the history. Since I was a little girl my goal is to get accepted to the college I want and to become a good Register Nurse. Throughout my life my parents have pushed me to do good, to follow my dreams, to not let no one get in the way of you achieving your dreams and, for this reason, I will always thank my parents. There were times in my life where I just wanted to give up because of all the stress I put on myself, but I never gave up no matter what because that was how my parents raised me. I am a very sociable person, optimistic, and self educated.
From a time, longer than I could remember, I had always known that I wanted to have a career in the medical field. My first choice was in Obstetrics, then after a few years, it changed to Dentistry. It was not until around the age of 11 that I discovered the career that I wanted to pursue after college, which was Orthopedic Surgery. Now to this day, this has been the first career choice that I still follow, research, and can proudly say I still hope to obtain.
In the future, I hope to pursue my career dream of becoming a pediatrician. Pediatricians can be identified individuals who specialize in giving medical care to children and adolescents between infancy to adulthood at eighteen years of age. I became inspired to become a pediatrician due to my immense love of children. Perhaps I have an innate intuition for taking care of people being that I have always felt that I excel at taking care of others. The idea of taking care of others truly makes me feel that I serve a purpose, not only to better the life of myself but the life of others. Therefore, I believe that becoming a pediatrician will help me combine the best of both worlds into a career that I adore and cherish.
My current course load is helping achieve success from different types of directions for my dream career. If I continue to study and work conscientiously, then I can see myself as a physical therapist in ten years. I can easily see myself working and understanding multiple diverse groups. If I am able to expand my dreams, I can see myself becoming a pediatric physical therapist. I would attempt to inspire and educate children to take care of their health. Speaking of children, I have a personal childhood quote by Walt Disney that inspires me to follow my physical therapy dream. No matter what life throws at us, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” That quote is my main life lesson—I plan to follow it until I reach my career
