What was preparation for the event like? What could your group have done differently to better prepare? To be honest, our group had a decent preparation for the event. Everyone in our group did their work, and if one of our members had any problems with their work there was always someone to help him out. Although we were one off the clubs to score the highest number in Mock Club Fair, but still if we started our planning earlier then we started we might have scored more.
How did your group work together? Did your time struggle to work together, or was it very easy?
During the event as well as before the event we were meeting to work together on our tasks which we are very pleasant off. During the course off this class we had some problems

We always backed each other on doing a task, in addition I found respectable friends.
What was the most difficult aspect of being in your group?
The most difficult aspect of being in my group was being creative our members were very creative, and representing them with creative ideas was very difficult for me, because almost all off my ideas were dropped, but at the end it just made me more creative.
How do you feel about your performance at the Mock Club Fair? What could your group have done to improve the event?
Certainly the Mock Club Fair was actually a good experience for all student, and about my performance at the Mock Club Fair was percussively good I put all I had to do better in the event. Our group could have did more then what we have done to improve the event if we had the event outside, because we had planned everything for outside certainly it would have been better if the event was held in the green area.

Group management has never been one of my strong characteristics, as I feel more comfortable doing grunt work and having personal tasks given to me. Rather than making sure others are staying focused with the tasks I assigned for them. When first starting the project no one was really comfortable with each other, as most of us had just met and were uncertain of what to expect. As we progressed in the undertaking of the project, roles or positions were established for everyone in the group. I, unexpectedly, became a sort of group manager, making sur...
Be sure to discuss at least 3 prompts. How would you evaluate the quality of your participation in today's discussion? What was your role? What did you contribute? What did you gain from your classmates?
I could feel the awkward tension in the air because of the social issues that were discussed. I felt uncomfortable at times, but I’m grateful that our school gives students the opportunity to participate
In order to evaluate my role within the group, it is important to identify what makes a group. A group must firstly consist of more than three members, “Two members have personal relationships; with three or more there is a change in quality” of the personal relationship. (Bion 1961, p26) The group must have a common purpose or a goal in order to succeed. Having now completed my group work task, I can look back and reflect upon the process that my group went through to get to the presentation end point.
I think we deserve an A+ or A as a grade because I feel we all contributed .Everyone took responsibility for their own assignment and work efficiently. We had great communication in regarding deadlines and who was responsible in printing or bringing supplies. Also because during the event everyone was engage with the parents and with the kids no one was sitting down or not doing nothing. Another reason why I feel we deserve this grade is because during class time we all took the time to discuss and plan what activities we were planning in doing, what to bring, what the articles mention and what type of resources would be beneficial for the community.
I do believe though that the questions were insightful based on the questions asked. One of the questions asked was, “Are the kids able to go to college after their education?” This was a very interesting question because you can find out what happens after the kids get in education. Most of the kids get scholarships for schools to Europe, America, and Africa where they continue their learning journey. During the Q/A session you were able to learn how the kids get picked to be in the choir and how much the kids missed their
My co-operative behavior and the agreeable behavior I exhibited contributed to the harmony and the success of the group. The co-operation that was exhibited was relative to prompt arrival to meetings, meeting group deadlines, and thorough participation in the discussions and the forums of the group. While I was indeed co-operative for most of the group sessions, I was not afraid to speak my mind. My strongest writing skills were illustrated with the expression and analysis of the benefits and the drawbacks associated with the group project.
Our group team "Diversity" is one of the best teams that I have had the opportunity to work with. I honestly give each team member ten out of ten including myself. Each one of us did equal parts and contributed fairly to all faucets of the team presentation. Our team absolutely adhered to our team charter. We all did this by not allowing anyone to miss any assignments, ensuring that we were all present, and helped each other to ensure that we will receive good grades. We even talked about our online submittals with one another if one of us noticed someone wasn’t turning in a report/assignment on time. I've worked with teams before and they haven't always been as smooth; therefore, the process couldn't have been any better!
Therefore, cooperation between the team members was crucial. At last, one of the team member willing to be the interviewee and we started to discuss the responsibility of every team members as well as distributed task. Way to improve the performance of the group is break down the barrier. For example, every of the team member should share idea and what they think to the group. So, barrier between the group member will not happen and every of the team member can performance well with sharing out the different idea.
I worked with another person to try and improve on my group skills, reflect on my past struggles, and try to make my weaknesses become my strengths. In the past group performance, we placed 6th nationally. This achievement had taken a long, hard time to reach. However, despite the win, the certificates, and the multiple medals, it didn’t feel like we had won as a group. In this year's National History Day (NHD) project, I decided to instead do a group exhibit.
Working together with other people for an assignment can be a challenging task in some cases but luckily, I worked well with my group members. The decisions we made were anonymous although we paced ourselves individually when it came to completing our separate parts of the essay. As a group I believe that we connected well on an interpersonal level as all four of us were able to make alterations to any problem together . Furthermore, we did not give each other a chance to get angry at one another as we knew that this would only cause conflict that would disrupt our flow as a group. There was an equal divide in the amount of work that we all did; our contributions were fair and no one was lacking behind. In addition, my group members were great at keeping each other informed if one of us were not able to attend a group meeting; emails were sent out informing us what we missed and ideas that were formulated. Everyone in my group worked according to deadlines and in synchronization with each other; we did not have to nag anyone to complete work or wait on a member to complete their task.
I had to be a good listener because we had to come up with different ideas for the enterprise individually and then share it to the group. After all of the ideas have been said we came up with the idea to sell Indian food such as Samosas and Onion Bhajis. We planned everything out and during the day, my teamwork skills were in action because I had participated when selling the
but I was satisfied. We had freshmen activities the whole day so people could meet and make new friends, these activities seemed really cliche to me but I
For this event, there was a business fair that included many of the major businesses in the area. The minimum for the extra credit was to talk to three different companies, however, I chose to talk to nine. I talked to J.B. Hunt, 3M, Cargill, Valspar, Best Buy, and a few other companies. For each company, I would walk up to the table, introduce myself, and ask them to tell me a little bit about their company. Once they were done with their pitch about their company, we would then ask each other some more questions. They would typically ask what year I was in for school, what my major was, and what I wanted to do when I was done with college. From there, they would typically relate one of these answers to how I would fit in with their company. I then would ask if they had any internships available for the summer and they would typically either hand me their card or tell me to check their website for the application. The basic style for each of these companies varied, however, the type of information they would give was all pretty similar. Also, some company employees were more forward and expressive while others hung back and waited for me to ask most of the questions. Each person was pretty unique
