Of course having a young intern in business full of mIllennials were the younger generation can help with what's new in our society now. However, I never thought them as completely valuable because majority of the time an intern is someone coming out of high school r college with little or not work experience. An intern is hired, yes to help, but mostly learn in the particular job field. When I here intern I always think about organizations needing them for free labor, which is why I always looked for a paid internship because I wanted to feel closer to being seen as an actual employee.
In a good way, I found it surprising that the having a “just in case”

I am very blessed to have found an internship and supervisor that made it a point after my job offer to set up a phone call conference with my assigned mentor to discuss goals, what I need to complete my internship for school, and different projects and activities I would be involved in until my internship ended. On my first day I knew exactly what I would be doing for the next five months. At the end of each work week for me, my supervisor sits me down and asks how I am progressing on the project I am working on at the time and if it will hold me until next week, if not, she makes sure to add to my to do list of task. To make sure I keep my internship great, I want to make sure I keep asking questions. I have to remember that my supervisor, mentor, and other employees are at my disposal for questions in a job field I am not an expert at. I am sure they appreciate the question rather than me messing up and it's too late to fix it. Asking questions for me thought means stepping out of my cfro zone and be willing and open to learn new things and taking constructive criticism and feedback. I never want to take my internship for granted and continuously be thankful for the opportunity I have been given. Everyday is not going to be the best but I am sure the good will outweigh the

Apart from the experience I have gained at LT Security Inc., my various internship positions have also exposed me to eye-opening responsibilities. For example, as a marketing intern at MySelf New York, I engaged in organized discussions with customers as well as colleagues in the pursuit of better promotional and marketing strategies. I have also gained experience with other matters such as employee coaching and assistance, employee relations, communication and implementation of policies and procedures during my time at Stony Brook University as intern in arts management and at Yunnan Changji Real Estate Co. Ltd where I served as an administrative

All business schools should have an internship program. The benefits that the internship program can give to its students are outstanding. I spent much of the day sitting at my desk wondering what I could do to make myself look busy. I was not given any instructions upon my arrival and I was never really given instructions in general throughout the entire experience. I expected someone to take me under their wing and show me exactly what to do on a daily basis. That dream soon died after I realized my job was to sit at my desk and find busy work until I was told to do something or I was working on one of my three projects. Unfortunately, I was disappointed at first because I expected so much more from this internship, but I soon realized everything I learn, no matter how small, will help me in the long
Starting the fifth week of my internship I feel as though I have grown a lot in my internship position as well as starting to make the connections of how my coursework at Johnson and Wales University is preparing me for my future endeavors. There is no doubt that my education from college helps me a lot during my internship. The college gives us project brief, training us have a good time management. Full set work load also makes me can stand working individually in company. High requirement of finishing and presentation make me get praise from Internship Company. However the software we learn from school are not enough for actual work. It is better that college can spend more time on teaching more software which matching market demand. I also realize that it is same important for us to get to know more on marketing and business management. The college can provide some make-up courses of that, for some students who want to run their own studio or company, to understand the basic requirement and process for that.

Throughout my one hundred and twenty-hour experience with the Gloversville Police Department, I learned many skills, values and the ways of this Police Department. Many of the calls and situations I went to often could relate to a certain theory that I learned in any of my law classes. I would recommend any student majoring in Criminal Justice to try to take an internship with a local law enforcement agency. I am currently signed up for the civil service test for Gloversville Police Department, If I do qualify for the Police I believe that this internship will give me a huge head start.

At the end of the interview, the employer will ask you if you have any questions. Preparing a few smart, thoughtful questions about your position, or the company itself would show that you have done your homework. Amy Hoover, president of TalentZoo, says “there’s another reason you should always prepare questions. It’s expected – and if you don’t ask at least two questions, you will appear disinterested, or worse, less intelligent and engaged than a prospective employer would like” (businessinsider).
