Exercise doesn’t mean that you have to have a gym membership or do push ups and pull ups every day. It means that you do something physical, that would help improve your health and fitness. My friend, who used to be overweight, well not really “overweight” but she wanted to be fit. I and she were introduced to Zumba last year through our Spanish class, it was an assignment. After my friend joined the class, she said that Zumba is more like kids dancing at a party, rather than actual workout. It involves a lot of jumping. Zumba helped people be more confident. After my friend joined the class, she was more happy, fit and had more confidence in herself. Zumba is good for everyone, especially lazy ones. That’s roughly the same amount you’d work off if you ran at a slow-ish pace or biked at 15 miles per hour for the same amount of time” (Heid). My friend wanted to be fit but didn’t want to exercise, so she chooses to do Zumba. I would rather dance for 40 mins, than riding a bike at 15 miles per hours for 40 mins.
