Unproductive Students In Schools

Many teachers look down on group projects because of that one unproductive student not participating in the group assignment. Although, you may see a significant number of unproductive students, it is not fair to the students who participate and are all for the assignment. Teachers should assign more group projects.

In school, students use different strategies to study and learn depending on what strategy suites them. Group projects are a great way to get to learn different strategies and how to use them. When there are three or more students all focusing on the same topic, the students often build their knowledge. Every student has a different perspective on each and every topic they talk about in school. This could help because combining all thought processes into one assignment can help scores go up and students excel in school. Students also use group projects for constructive criticism. Many people look down on the disobedient students because no one pays attention when they are behaving, but students pay attention to when they are disruptive to the class. Peers also influence them. Understanding how good student's act, and how they get good grades from that, changes their perspective in that subject or in general. If peers would encourage other students, then there would be a big difference in our schools.

Students walk through the hallways every day facing bullies and their own conscience. People get made fun of for their clothes, shoes, hair, looks, etc. Many students stay in a clique and are not open for newcomers. Although this is true, group projects can fix that. Students judge their peers by their looks, but they do not take the time to learn personalities. Group projects open this window, because students meet new peers. Interaction with a school project can bring students together on one mind
