Entering my final year of high school, I faced many uncertainties and experienced many emotions as everything has quickly become a last. Like every year, fall semester has been my busiest with the combination of marching band, academics, clubs, and other extracurriculars. Throughout this semester, the self-reflections helped me open my eyes to who I am as a person and identify the challenges and obstacles I encounter as a student. Yes, I have my strengths but I also have my weaknesses, which can be burdening and impact the effort I put into school. Additionally, these reflections have provided an understanding as to what I might excel at in the future based on such strengths and weaknesses and the improvements I can make. Over the course of this semester I discovered that I am personally skilled at working hard, staying organized, being flexible, exemplifying dedication, and multitasking. These qualities were evident throughout many units of the semester. Firstly, juggling marching band, quiz bowl, extracurriculars, and academics is no easy feat as all demand a lot of time. However, by using my multitasking skills, I At first, I was not sure that I would learn a lot about myself that I did not already know, but I was wrong. I specifically liked the process because it has helped identify who I truly am as a person ad the strengths and weaknesses I possess. In the same sense, it was also very valuable because I learned who I am as a student. As a student, I am diligent, hardworking, flexible, and striving to be as successful as possible. Moreover, the self-reflections were also valuable because they will help me further in life, not limited to just college.
