Health Dimension
When observing my goals I noticed how two out of the six dimensions of health where incorporated in both goals. Each goal had one dimension, Psychological and Physical, without out even deliberating about it. My goal one was time manage/stress, which was a Psychological health dimension, and goal two sleeping more hours which was Physical.
Emotional wellness another word for Psychological wellness, implies to the ability to be aware of and accept our feelings, coping with stress in a healthy way, and enjoy life despite its occasional disappointments and frustrations. My path to emotion wellness involved learning to be more aware of my thoughts and feelings. Understanding my body along with my mind when I was over worked and also over stressed, learning time management skills, and maintaining a life balance of both my academics and my social life.
Physical wellness doesn’t only involve aspects of life that are necessary to keep yourself in top condition, but it is also concerned with developing personal responsibility for your own health care. Working out, together with eating well isn’t all you need to do to achieve physical wellness. You must also sleep the recommend hours of sleep and receive regular check ups for you Physician. ...r my personal health. Sticking to a schedule isn’t easy at all, because there are sometimes things that occur that you don’t have control over. It’s the end result of the change that just does it for you. Improving you stress level isn’t something that you can just fix with a schedule trust me I’ve learn that. It has many more factors to it, it isn’t just time management there stress at work, home, and just how you feel about yourself. You have to remember just to breathe and take things one-step at a time, and I have to say that was the most challenging part for me.
Conclusion
I have learned a great deal in this course, and about my self. Just from writing this paper I can see the difference in how I think, and how I have change just in a semester. I will continue to progress in these two goals and use the S.M.A.R.T goal step up for future goals and improvements.
