“Leadership is the ability to take an average team of individuals and transform them into superstars” stated by Jonas Falk, the CEO of OrganicLife. As a point guard, throughout my life, they are the heart and leaders of the game. The specialized position coordinates basketball plays similar to a quarterback in football. We are not the primary scorers; we assist in getting the ball passed to the right player at the right time. Basketball is a team sport, but in a sense, my position resembles the leader of the team. Playing basketball has taught me a vast amount of leadership qualities that has been transferrable in both academic and social circumstances. In any given situation, I have made it my motto that the key difference between a leader and a boss is that a leader carries a team, while a boss controls a team. Leadership is what I strive for.

With the determination to become a corporate attorney in the near future, I am a Finance Pre-Law major with an English minor. The Finance Pre-Law major allows me to explore the necessary understandings behind the corporate world while an English minor …show more content…

We are a newly established fraternity at the college. I hold the chairperson position of the Academic Committee. Gina Huffman, the advisor of PAD, and I have facilitated legal reading and writing lessons for our Pre-Law organization. For instance, we had a law professor from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law come in and give us key tips and tricks on how to effectively interpret legal documents. For the 2015-2016 school year, Joelle Livorse, co-chair of the Finance Committee, and I allocated approximately $5,000 for our fraternity from the Student Government Association. We equally distributed the funds to every committee of our fraternity. PAD has endowed me many opportunities to network with other members and to execute leadership roles within our newly developed
