Should students be all allowed to use phones in school? Many people can agree that cell phones should be allowed in school and some can disagree with that statement. There are reasons that explain that cell phones are just a distraction to students or that cellphones can actually help them when they are needed. But what if some of the reasons cell phones should be allowed in school are for emergencies? Yes there has been many horrible things that go wrong in schools like fires,flood,gas leaks and shootings. Parents worry about their children and what could happen to them. If cell phones are allowed in classrooms and are in danger , then they could take it out and call for an emergency phone line. The essence of Josh Higgins viewpoint is that cell phones are useful in many ways and that it could educate other students that cell phones can also be used for classwork and collaborating.Of course, it is possible to disagree with the view that cell phones are going to be useful and could help students learn and instead argue that using cell phones is a waste of time and won’t help students learn. Also, people would say that cell phones that are used in school are going to have a negative impact on students education because of how easy cell phones can help them find the answer on any type of work or even a take home test. However, the weight of the evidence is on the other side. What must be remembered is that cell phones are used as a tool.They could help with many kids who are having a hard time with something in school and can help collaborate with other students with research,classwork or a group project and it could help them a lot.But also remember that in some schools, some of the wifi that teachers and principles used can be tracked and that could lead to a student being caught on an inappropriate website or talking to another student in a different
