Olive garden is good restaurant, I remember it has been in years since I’ve been to Olive Garden. I know a lot of people love that restaurant and I do as well. But like every restaurant they do have their ups and downs. I remember the night I ate at Olive Garden with my mother and grandmother. I remember some of the waiters and waitresses did not have a kind attitude. They seem like they didn’t want work at their job. Which is understandable sometimes, but they took their rotten behavior at costumers and us as well. Even though I didn’t like their behavior I decided to go on with my night anyway. I order the spaghetti and I notice there was a long thin black hair in my noodles. We complain and one of the employees got and irritated look on his face but I got another plate anyway. …show more content…
Apparently one of the other costumers saw one of the employees spit in someone else’s food and they got caught and I’m sure they got fired from their job that night. You know I understand that any business will have good things and bad things about it. But it was not a good night to go there, the food was good but people who work there were just rotten. Luckily after going to same Olive garden again those employees weren’t seen again. The positive things about Olive garden is that the food is amazing. It would be the best cooked meal I had in a long time. The spaghetti and baked chicken of theirs I remember it tasted heavenly. I mostly eat what I had before and I don’t try anything new that much. I also remembering that their drinks were great. After those employees were fired they hired new staff. They were much friendlier and they much more pleasure to be around. They made our stay a good experience in the restaurant so those are the pros and cons of Olive
To begin, it was very busy, there were traffic cones and employees directing traffic to get inside. The setting of Chick-fil-a was very welcoming, the employees were eager and ready to serve the customers. It was very busy during the lunch rush, but it was super clean, efficient and the cashiers were helpful and friendly. All of the employees were eager to help and their smiling faces showed it. Chick-fil-a is known for it’s second mile service and everyone seemed to genuinely want to be there. They employees didn’t seem to get annoyed with the people taking their time ordering or being a difficult customer. A few of the customers seemed to be taking a little longer than normal to find what they wanted to eat.
It was a very positive beginning to our dinner. Our server seemed to have a sixth sense of when his section was sat and came to us to get a drink order within two minutes of the hostess leaving. He also seemed to really enjoy his job. Since it was her first time at Texas Roadhouse, my friend had a lot of questions about the menu and our server was very patient and answered every one to the best of his ability. We were also approached at our table by a manager who was sincere in her welcome to the restaurant and made us really feel at home while we were there. All in all, there was nothing to complain about when it came to customer service; it was
Olive Garden always has a warm welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy dinner with your family. The waitresses and waiters are always respectful and care about your needs as a customer. On my many occasions to Olive Garden the service I get is always exceptional. I have a toddler and my servers were always very patient.
Dave Thomas an American restaurateur and a philanthropist once said, “It all comes back to the basic. Serve customers the best-tasting food at a good value in a clean, comfortable restaurant, and they'll keep coming back.” (thomas). Everyone can agree on Dave Thomas, but I have a couple more criteria to add to his idea of a great successful restaurant. If I go out to eat I might as well pick a place that, though may be expensive, has scrumptious food because why bother going to spend money on food you can make yourself? A great restaurant has to meet three of my criteria’s: the Décor and atmosphere, impeccable service and cleanliness, and most importantly the food.
Many of the customers are regulars who have been coming to the restaurant ever since it first opened, which is why the owners make it a priority to provide a consistent menu with the customer’s favorite entrees. The restaurant strictly serves dinner options, as it opens its doors at 4pm. The menu consists of seafood, pasta, steak, and sandwiches, as well as a daily entrée and soup specials, allowing every customer to find something that appeals to them on the menu. Although the menu features a wide variety of food, many of the options, especially the seafood, can be quite pricey for many customers. This results in many customers only being able to come in for special occasions, as the food is too expensive to pay for on a regular basis. Some of the restaurants most popular items, such as the prime rib, are only available on the weekend, resulting in customers who come into the restaurant specifically for thos...
Martin Seligman has an interesting view on Psychology’s “Good, not good, and not good enough” aspects. I started to understand Seligman’s thought process on positive Psychology as each aspect broke down, for example; the “good” aspects: the disease model and fourteen treatable disorders. Positive Psychology’s benefits shows that the disease model usage helps treat conditions like the now fourteen treatable disorders. I would have to agree with Seligman’s three happy life types. Everyone defines “happiness” in their own ways; personally I spent the majority of my naive life believing the “good life” view was the only way to boost or obtain happiness. Money and achievements do not bring forth true happiness, in the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “true
For example, many students say the food is cold, fake, and disgusting. Students, Jordyn Gilbert and Leah Gelik found mold on the lettuce in the salad. Also, student Brianna Langberg says,” I think that the food is disgusting, there are very small portions, I don’t think it is real food, and their food is rock solid. Many children say that the food is served cold and hard. In addition, there are many complaints about the food. Here are a few: No flavor, tastes bad, small portions, not fresh, and most people say that the food is
The term “fast-food” is usually distinguished by food served very quickly to a customer by drive-through or carry-out. Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Chick-fil-A also shows their appreciation for employee to customer relations, rather than ignoring the social aspect of serving customers when operating at a fast pace. Chick-fil-A’s menu selection, customer interaction, and clean eating
Within that minute, I was able to grasp my feel for the restaurant. The characteristics of the atmosphere included pleasant music, and soft lighting; but rather dark. We were finally seated in a big booth set for four in which the host took the initial plate ware as there was only three of us. In addition to the great ambiance, the menu was rather extensive, especially for being gluten-free and in an Italian restaurant. Our server was distinctively groomed, passionate and knowledgeable about the gluten-free options; and was even considerate enough to bring me out gluten free rolls. My dinner rolls arrived in a timely manner; they were fresh and light, served with a whipped butter. I ordered a pizza, “Trezo White”, which included: chicken, bacon, spinach, artichokes, roasted tomatoes, Alfredo, and fonzarella with gluten-free crust. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but the presentation was nothing absurd. My pizza appeared fresh and appealing, with effulgent colors from the roasted tomatoes, and
Working at a restaurant has its ups and downs just like any job does. I have spent seven years of my life working at Mexican restaurants, although none are the same. I am currently working at Zapata’s Grill, which has been a great job opportunity for me. Previously I worked at El Dorado, which was slightly similar but different from Zapata’s grill not nearly as great of a job. Which comes to my conclusion why Zapata’s Grill is better than El Dorado due to the Wages, Friendly environment, and lastly convenient policy.
There were several times that I was watching around the restaurant and noticed several large groups and they were sat in a straight line, which is the perfect seating for large groups. I feel that staff was in need of more customer training so that they can have a prosperous restaurant.
They did not provide a pleasant ambiance for cus! tomers to dine in. McDonald's communication and leadership were also lacking.
Open lunch, a waste of money and a risk of your student’s life. It is safer to be at the school rather than be out roaming the town. If a student was late to get back they would hurry and perhaps make poorer decisions then they would if they weren’t in a hurry. They could easily get hurt by a car or have a collision with another vehicle. What I believe would happen if we opened the open lunch up to more people, they would hurry and eat fast and start to mess around. They could vandalize or something else. They could even get involved in drugs like smoking marijuana or some other drugs. Every kid knows that they could never do drugs in school they would be caught almost instantly. So they would just wait till lunch and then do them. Plus we all know that as a high school student you’re not exactly rolling in the cash so you will most likely be getting gas station or fast food, not the healthiest food on the planet. They would be destroying their arteries without even worrying about the repercussions. Even though they would get exercise and fresh air, should sophomores and juniors be allowed open lunch?
In my podcast I talk about the restaurant the “O”. I discuss the experience of
When entering a restaurant, I usually expect to leave full, satisfied, and wanting to come back again. I believe that many people expect the same thing. The way people react to service can be very different from person to person. Depending on the way the customers are feeling, or the way that the server is feeling can be a big factor for the way service comes across. Service is an important part of everyone’s lives because majority of the jobs that people preform are service related. Poor service is an unfortunate part of life that everyone comes across. The way that I react to the poor service I receive is important and can change in the blink of an eye. Whether I react in an outspoken way, by getting loud and voicing my opinion. Or if I react in a quiet or apologetic way, it can affect my server, and the people around me, and myself.
