I was introduced to Trezo Mare through Chef Felix, persuading me to further my career with the Chef Apprenticeship Program. Although I switched my major, when this project came about; I apprehended Trezo Mare as the place. Trezo Mare is a special-occasion Italian Restaurant located at 4105 N Mulberry Dr, Kansas City, MO; in Briarcliff Village. I decided to take my parents along with me, and since the restaurant is a reservation only restaurant; we made a reservation for 6:00pm. The parking was ample, and quite immense, however there were limited spots available at our time of arrival. When we made the scene, the curb appeal was phenomenal. The restaurant was embarked with a cordial stone pattern, and the entrance was sheathed with beautiful …show more content…
Within that minute, I was able to grasp my feel for the restaurant. The characteristics of the atmosphere included pleasant music, and soft lighting; but rather dark. We were finally seated in a big booth set for four in which the host took the initial plate ware as there was only three of us. In addition to the great ambiance, the menu was rather extensive, especially for being gluten-free and in an Italian restaurant. Our server was distinctively groomed, passionate and knowledgeable about the gluten-free options; and was even considerate enough to bring me out gluten free rolls. My dinner rolls arrived in a timely manner; they were fresh and light, served with a whipped butter. I ordered a pizza, “Trezo White”, which included: chicken, bacon, spinach, artichokes, roasted tomatoes, Alfredo, and fonzarella with gluten-free crust. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but the presentation was nothing absurd. My pizza appeared fresh and appealing, with effulgent colors from the roasted tomatoes, and
After a long day in school and studying, every student needs a night off to just relax and enjoy a meal at a restaurant. In this modern time, some aspects of a restaurant can be the deciding choice. Many choose their restaurant of choice based on either those they are with, their personal, cultural appetite, their routine eating habits or their mood. Some of these preferences are similar yet others are the deciding differences. Two common franchise restaurants that pose differences are Applebee’s and Olive Garden. These two restaurants present their differences in environmental and food options causing a choice between them.
Fanny Fern once said, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” (Fern 1). This not only holds true for men, it surly can be said about anyone. A restaurant that can capture anyone’s heart is Carrabba’s Italian Grill. What makes it different from all the other Italian restaurants? That would be the authentic taste and experience the restaurant provides its customers with. Whether diners choose to go out to celebrate or gather the family for a delicious meal, there is one place that they will certainly enjoy having it at, Carrabba’s Italian Grill. This holds true because as a long-time customer, I’ve experienced Carrabba’s for different occasions from anniversaries, graduations to birthday parties
The warming atmosphere is one of a kind. Behind the counter are the caring faces of not just a worker, but a friend. Regular guests are called by name, sharing stories of families and the past week with the welcoming employees. Sitting all around in tables and booths are patrons from every category. Beside the window on a high table to the left is a lawyer, to the right is a mother and her two kids. In a booth in the back is a construction worker still covered slightly in concrete from a road job he had been working on back on 19th Street. All of these, enjoying a delicious meal of their special combination.
Located east of the small town of Monmouth, Illinois is Cerar’s Barnstormer. Cerar’s is very unassuming from the outside. There are no gleaming neon signs, outdoor smoking areas or music played over speakers like you’d find at, say, Texas Roadhouse. It has a simple, lighted sign displaying the restaurant’s name and a tattered orange windsock reflecting the aviation theme for which it’s named and decorated. Looks, however, can be deceiving; as is the case with Cerar’s Barnstormer. Once inside you’ll find a dining experience that is usually only found at upper end restaurants in larger metropolitan areas. Despite its almost kitschy décor, Cerar’s Barnstormer is an excellent dining experience.
There are thousands of different restaurants around the globe where people can either wait five minutes for their lunch in a drive-thru lane but pay for rude service and processed food, and some where formal attire is required and food and beverages are so expensive they break the bank. But what if there was a restaurant that offered both? A restaurant where service is top-of- the-line, food is warm and fresh, and the setting is elegant but inexpensive? A restaurant like this is not easy to find but thankfully, it does exist. The highly popular and many-favorited Italian restaurant, Olive Garden is the place to be. Opened on December 13th, 1982, in Orlando, Florida, Olive Garden quickly became the fastest-growing Italian-themed restaurant in

Olive garden is good restaurant, I remember it has been in years since I’ve been to Olive Garden. I know a lot of people love that restaurant and I do as well. But like every restaurant they do have their ups and downs. I remember the night I ate at Olive Garden with my mother and grandmother. I remember some of the waiters and waitresses did not have a kind attitude. They seem like they didn’t want work at their job. Which is understandable sometimes, but they took their rotten behavior at costumers and us as well. Even though I didn’t like their behavior I decided to go on with my night anyway. I order the spaghetti and I notice there was a long thin black hair in my noodles. We complain and one of the employees got and irritated look on his face but I got another plate anyway.
The restaurant is the latest addition to Trejo’s list of food projects, which includes Cerveca and his own coffee blend roasted in

The first time went to your restaurant I was wary, but when I tried your pizza I left the restaurant dazzled, I immediately knew that your generic pizza place is most certainly a diamond in the rough. Year after year you’re my first choice for food, because let’s face it you’re pizzas are one of a kind that can make emotionless people smile with the flavor of your pizza that leaves us customers longing for more. I’ll have you know that 97% of the pickiest people I know when it comes to food consider Two Brothers Pizza their favorite pizza place. My family fancies your restaurant and they have been eating at your place for years and are planning on eating there for years to come. I have always had opposite opinions with my family with almost anything you could think of, but the subject that my family and I can always agree on is that Two Brothers Pizza has the best pizza on Earth both with its great prices and top notch quality
I feel that restaurants should place more of an emphasis on providing consumers with detailed listings of the ingredients used in preparing their dishes. More and more people are diagnosed with food allergies every day.” This shows how when restaurants don’t label their menus it could have tragic consequences for their

While I was studying at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, a friend of mine decided to take me out for lunch before our next class begins. Since I did not know the area very well, I let my friend choose our lunch destination. She had chosen a local eatery called Jefferson’s. Its location was a ten-minute drive on Pelham Road, away from the university.
I spent the next twenty minutes, at least, getting to know more about the Town Kitchen through its Chief Operations Officer, Tara Mutukisna. I had had a boxed lunch of theirs at an event last month about racial segregation in the restaurant industry. I learned that Town Kitchen keeps their food from spoiling between being cooked and reaching the customer-- who is often a corporate worker, since Town Kitchen currently depends on scale for efficiency-- by planning and executing careful refrigeration and immediate, efficient trips. I learned that the program coordinator there is a social worker with a background in counseling, whic...
