Two years of growth and learning,are the couple of things that I gained while I was involved in clubs in college. When I was involved in several clubs such as the Catholic Student Fellowship Club and the Puente Club, I had the opportunity to give a hand to the community when I participated in events such as Halloween Town, which consisted in giving candy to the community. In specific, it was to give those people who were in need. Participating in these simple events, made me realize how important is to be involved in the community and how I can make a difference in the community. Moreover, it helped me realized that the community needs me and that I am important. When I was part of the Puente and the Latina Leadership Network Club, it helped me realize that I need to educate myself more in order to inform my family but also to inform my community. Being involved in these clubs has not only motivated me to continue to pursue the career I want to pursue but has also helped me to be more close to the community by helping them. While I was involved in the Catholic Student Fellowship, I had the bless to form part of the community Garden, which consisted in planting vegetables and fruits in order to help students who were in need of food.
