Men have always been the preferred gender when it came to mostly anything that our species had to work for. Our society has given men the upper hand in mostly everything. When it came down to jobs the men would often be called upon more times than the women. The men were considered smarter, stronger, and more diligent when it came to working. Women have had it the worst, they would often be looked down on. Society made the women look less capable of handling the men work. Men and Women have the same capabilities. I never really encountered any difficult situation regarding sexism during my life. If I were to ever want to join a team I would just automatically join the team. When I was younger I remember that a girl wanted to join the soccer team, It was the last spot opened for the team. We both went the same day to the coaches office, and asked for the spot. The next day he called in the girl to his office when she came out with a sad face. The coach called me in and told me that I was in the team, I told him, “ Why did you accept me and not her,” he responded, “ because you're a boy and boys are naturally better at sports.” I have had no problems with being able to join something if anything due to my gender. …show more content…

First of all they in society have been given unfair pay equity as a group. People argue the fact that women stay home, and have other chores to attend to. Second of all, Women's workplace treatment is horribly disgusting. For instance, if a women shows anger towards people they consider her to be to emotional. Finally women are under looked in their own homes as well. Men expect for the wives to have many things done at a certain time. Men expect so much out of their wives that is just to much, like Brady says, “My wife must arrange to loose time at work, and not lose the job.” If men see that women can do many things why do we criticize so
