My entire family (even those from out of state) take a trip to Disney World every year. I can honestly say after all those vacations that this one was definitely the most interesting and eventful one we've taken. It was 6:00 am on Monday morning and my dad and I started packing the car so we could head to the airport. While I was putting everyone else's suitcases I realized just how much stuff i'd packed compared to everyone else. To me it had seemed liked I only packed the necessities but looking back now I way overpacked. My bag was so heavy I couldn't even lift it high enough to put it in the car. Once we got all of the luggage in the back of our red traverse, my family got into the car and started our very loud, hour car ride to …show more content…
Then on Thursday things really started to get interesting. My brother woke up around 4:30 Thursday morning and was throwing up. My dad ending up having to stay with him to take care of him while the rest of us went to his favorite park, Epcot. Epcot is, in my opinion, the most enjoyable because it has a destination theme and is set up like 6 different countries around the world. It incorporates a ton of different cultures and not only has great rides, but also it's a good learning experience. When we got to Epcot the first thing I did was go straight to the countries tour. My initial stop place was Britain. In all honesty, this was my least favorite part of this park because all I could smell the entire way through it was fish and chips which are honestly gross. After I was halfway through the park I started getting pretty hungry and my little sister Bren was too. We decided we were going to go find somewhere to eat and then meet back up with the rest of the family after we did. We walked at a fast pace to the front of the park where the Mexican food is. I got nachos and my sister got a burrito. We sat down at an outside table and ate until all our food was devoured. This was the first meal I had eaten all day so it was pretty fabulous for me. I pulled out my phone to call my mom and realized that it was completely dead. My little sister who is only 8 doesn't have a phone so I realized we were in a little bit of a predicament. I knew that my parents had no idea where we were so I began to panic. Then my sister grabbed my hand and said “let's just ask to borrow someone's phone” I laughed at myself because in the heat of the moment I hadn't thought about that. We pushed through the crowd and found a woman with her family that looked nice
We went back to our room after we finished at Epcot. It had gotten up to ninety degrees outside, and we were exhausted. It was a thrilling experience to see all my favorite places again in Epcot. I can’t wait to come back and relive this experience again. This place is something I will never forget.
The adventure began at the high school where we all met in the afternoon around one o’ clock to board the huge traveling buses that would take us on our journey to Disney world. The ten hour ride was ridiculously long and almost felt never ending, but we finally arrived at our hotel in Orlando at about one in the morning. I remember we all rushed into
Today was my sister's birthday! We went to Animal Kingdom, Which had a really fun ride called The Legend Of The Forbidden Mountain, where you go up the coaster normally and drop backwards. I screamed really loud! After a while, we got lunch. We went to a restaurant in the park, where I had the best grilled cheese of my life. We spent a few more hours at the park and left at dinner time. That night, we had dinner at a really nice restaurant. I got steak and mashed potatoes and we left after eating for about an hour and went back to our resort. When we got back we went to our cousin's room and watched
The next few days we spent our time at the other parks like Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. This time we spent a lot more time at Epcot and visited the various cultures like Italy, and Mexico. I even had a nice conversation with a girl from Mexico. I guess my lessons in Spanish have finally paid off as I could understand what she was saying and that I could respond back to her in spanish. At the Animal Kingdom, we looked at the various animals, and later on went on a safari. We saw many different animals like giraffes and
One hot summer day in July, my dad's side of the family wanted to go to Adventureland in Altoona, Iowa. It was a yearly tradition for all of us grandkids to go with just our grandma and grandpa. Usually they went into the park, watched us go on a couple rides, rode some with us, then they would leave the park and go shopping instead. That ment all the cousins got to be in the park alone.
I answered. So we went to go ride pirates of the caribbean when that was my favorite ride at the time and it still is one of my favorite rides of all time. I also rode other rides such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Soarin where it takes you on a virtual hang gliding trip across California and I loved that ride. After all those fun rides my family took a lunch break and we ate at the restaurant in the mexican section of epcot and they have really good mexican food.
Second, we went to Epcot, it was my personal favorite park. The day was bright and the sun was shining so bright. Epcot made me feel very connected to mother earth and nature, it was beautiful. The next day we went to Hollywood studios, it was nice and interesting, and the rides were so much fun, but sadly it rained so we didn't stay for much long. Last but not least, we went to Animal Kingdom.
The first time I went to Disney World was an amazing experience. I had never seen anything so large and full of fun stuff to do. The park was booming with excitement and energy which added to the great atmosphere. That summer my family was much younger- I was eight years old and my sisters were only 4. When we found out that we were going to be travelling to Florida early that spring, we were so ecstatic that we started thinking about what we were going to take and do, even though it was months away.
When we got to the airport we went through all the bag checks and was waiting at the gate. I boarded the plane and before I knew it we were in Florida. I got my bags with my family and took a taxi to our hotel. The hotel was filled with colorful decorations and the smell of flowers filled the hotel. The next day we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where we wanted to start our adventure. First, we had to get out wands at Ollivander's Wand Shop and try out some prodigious spells around the park. Next, we went on some riveting rides and took lots of pictures. I was surprised how realistic they built Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. My mouth dropped in disbelief when the saw the structures. Finally, we ate at the Leaky Cauldron and went to the gift
I have been to Disneyland in California, but that's not the same. I was sixteen when I attended the first day Walt Disney world's grand opening in Orlando, Florida happened. I remember going with my parents along with my brothers and sisters. On this very trip to Orlando today it's my children and grandchildren. Boarding the Plane eager to get to Florida already I take
My parents and I kept it a secret to my little sister, who had no clue whatsoever that we were going to Magic Kingdom until we reached the parking lot. This trip was very special to my sister, because she loves the Disney princesses and characters. Because of that, the first thing we did once we entered the park was “meet” some of the princesses. It was also very special to my sister because it was the first time she went to Disney World actually remembering what she did there. The first time we went, she was not even a year old, so she barely remembered what happened and the experiences she felt.
Everyone who exists on this planet is comprised of memories, both positive and negative. Memories can make you smile while you reminisce on joyous occasions, or they can cause you to wallow in great sadness. I personally prefer to dwell on my positive memories, the memories that deliver me into a state of complete euphoria. Out of all the memories I do possess however, the one that brings me the most joy and is my favorite recollection is the time that my family and I went to Walt Disney World in the Spring of 2012. Though we had previously visited the park only a few years prior, nothing can top the second time my family and I ventured to the magical park.
It was the middle of February when my family and I went to Disney World, and it was the best week ever. Big things happened, including going on rides that I was afraid to go on before, and turning 12 in Florida was a pretty big deal too, especially since it was my “Golden Birthday.” But my favorite part about this trip was when it started raining. It may not seem like a big deal, but it was really fun.
Disneyland In the summer of 2010, my family and I traveled to Los Angeles to visit Disneyland in Anaheim. It was my first time visiting Disneyland and the feeling of excitement overcame me as I anticipated the trip. My family consisted of my mom, dad, brother, grandparents, cousin, uncles and my aunt. The morning of the anticipated day I could feel the adrenaline flowing through my body, despite the lack of sleep I felt energetic.
After we got off the airplane, we rented a car and drove to my Uncle Joe?s house. We finally got there and then we all went out to eat dinner. We went to some Italian restraunt and boy was it good. To this day, I have never tasted anything as good as the Veal Picata I had that day. I ate so much that I could hardly move and once I got back to my uncle?s, I just passed out and went to bed. I had a big and exciting day ahead of me. I was going to Universal Studios and I couldn?t wait.
