So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family. We left our house at two in the morning because if we left at that time, we would be able to make it to Florida around eleven. I didn’t mind waking up that early, my sister on the other hand didn’t like the idea since she likes to sleep in. So she wasn’t in the best mood when we went to the airport. When we got to the airport, we met with my grandparents, uncle, and cousin. We got checked in and had wait until our flight. This was actually my first time So I was looking forward to this ride just to see my grandma like that. The ride itself was more of a sit and see ride. We sat on a boat, and it would move slowly so we could see all of the little figurines from the different cultures move and dance. As the ride went on, the song “It’s a Small World After All” would play, and I would look at my grandma and she would have this happy face and she would be clapping along to the music. I myself enjoyed the ride because it was meant to be a happy ride, and let me tell you, it was certainly was happy. Those rides were really fun to go on, but they didn’t give that intense feeling that I was looking for. Enter Splash mountain, my personal favorite ride from the Magic Kingdom. This reason this was my favorite ride is that when we went on it, we all got soaked. It was kind of funny listening to my family react to getting wet, especially my grandma because she hates getting wet. Plus when we went down the long slide at the end, my heart felt like it went out of my chest. It was an exhilarating ride, and I had a good time on My uncle would say before our trip that Disney had the best fireworks that he ever saw, so I was looking forward to them since my uncle is kind of a pyrotechnic. We waited until we saw the fireworks. They lit up the sky in a variety of colors ranging from red to yellow, and to green. While the fireworks occurred, I saw someone on top of the castle dressed up as Tinkerbell, and zipline across the sky. It was incredible, and the actress would do a variety of poses similar to Tinkerbell. After the fireworks were over, we stayed to watch the show “Once Upon a Time”. It was about the different stories that Disney has told over the years, and the one thing that shocked me the most is that they used the ENTIRE castle as one big movie projector. Now that’s something I’ve never seen before, and I’m pretty sure you haven’t seen anything like it either. The next few days we spent our time at the other parks like Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. This time we spent a lot more time at Epcot and visited the various cultures like Italy, and Mexico. I even had a nice conversation with a girl from Mexico. I guess my lessons in Spanish have finally paid off as I could understand what she was saying and that I could respond back to her in spanish. At the Animal Kingdom, we looked at the various animals, and later on went on a safari. We saw many different animals like giraffes and
Walt Disney World’s first theme park, Magic Kingdom, opened up in 1971 to be extremely successful. Families enjoyed visited Disney World because it was a clean, safe environment that changed the Orlando area forever, bringing in more tourists than ever before. “The park hit capacity and was forced to close its gates for the day only a month after opening, on the day after Thanksgiving in 1971, and building could not happen fast enough to keep up with the ever increasing demand,” (“DISNEY TIMELINE”). Disney World needed new ideas to keep the guests happy and visiting again. The building of a new theme p...
What better way to end a newlywed couple and the entire other guest at Walt Disney World than having a beautiful fireworks show every night? This makes Walt Disney World the largest consumer of fireworks in North America (Walt Resort). Opening back on October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World amazed many people, just as it does still to this day. It is the most magical place on earth. Although the prices have gone up, the time spent enjoying and having fun there never changes.
Cinderella’s castle that glistens in the background, Main Street U.S.A that rolls out the red carpet for the visitors that wander in every day, and Mickey Mouse, who is front and center for all of Disney. Millions of people walk through the main doors every year expecting to see Snow White, Tinkerbell, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
The trip to Disney World gives me the ability to bond and enjoy time with my family without any worries other than what the next ride is going to be or what kind of pin I want for my collection. It allowed me to realize how fortunate I am in this world and what kind of people my parents are to allow me to go to such an amazing place, year after year. And it is simply a fun experience for me to go back to having a worry free lifestyle as that of a child, and enjoy the simple things in life such as a hug with Donald Duck or eating ice cream with family. My pilgrimage to Disney World has been something of a family holiday, such as Christmas, that has helped make me who I am today. This is why Disney World is my favorite place in the world, and probably will remain so for the rest of my life. I hope one day that I might be able to continue this pilgrimage as a legacy with my children, and maybe they with
Only at Walt Disney World is it possible to time travel, explore the cultures of countries around the world, visit lands of fantasy and adventure, and meet classic Disney characters. Walt Disney World offers slower paced rides for the little ones that are not yet tall enough for the main rides, thrilling rollercoasters for more adventurous folk, as well as rides that tell a story to the riders, and they offer handicap‒accessible rides for people of all different abilities. Personally, my favorite ride is Space Mountain. It is fast, thrilling, and being in the dark adds to the exhilaration! More importantly, the most magical part of Walt Disney World is the chance to meet classic Disney characters. Guests can meet Mickey Mouse and all of his friends, as well as visit the princesses in their castles. Every time I visit Walt Disney World, I wait in line to meet my absolute favorite Disney princess‒ Ariel. I first met her as just a little girl, but I still get excited now, at 19‒years‒old, to meet my favorite princess. Clearly, no matter the age of guests, visiting their favorite attraction or meeting their favorite character can brighten their

Last year I found out that I was going to Disney with Becky and Michael, my mom and dad’s friends. I was extremely excited because I had only gone once before and I had been asking to go for years. We left in late July and came back 7 days later. While we were there we went to all of the parks and stayed in the Disney animal Kingdom lodge. Going to Disney was incredibly important to me because I got to spend time with other than my family and I got to do something that I had been wanting to do for a long time. My favorite part of Disney was seeing the fireworks and seeing the differences in the unusual buildings that were so diverse. The weather was really nice when we were at Disney however, in evening it would start to rain, on our to monorail
All of these characters which I have grown up with were there. They were always in my mind. What kept my imagination and creativity running. Sitting there with my mother, father, brother, grandmother, and grandfather I can’t help but be filled with awe and wonder as my favorite personified animations come to life.
One bright and sunny morning, my Family planned an exciting trip to a land of make believe.we woke up early and i had no idea that we were on our way to an adventure. When suddenly, I look up and mickey’s face is on an enormous ferris wheel. I realize our adventure is leading us to Disneyland.my first time to Disneyland was remarkable because of thrilling rides, amazing structures, and the firework show.
I have always liked this side more. The first ride my dad and I rode was Grizzly Peak. No one else wanted to ride it but us. We got on a tube with a random family. Every time we were about to go under a waterfall my dad tried to turn the tube to put me under, but every time he ended up putting someone from the other family under and would hurry and apologize and try not to laugh. They came off the ride soaking wet. Some of us decided to go on the Tower of Terror. It was my first time going on this ride. I was so scared. You walk through this house and get on an elevator. Once you on and get seated the lights go off and you suddenly drop. After we looked at the picture and all laughed at our faces. Later that day we decided to go on the new Cars ride. We waited in line for three hours in the heat. The kids started to get dehydrated and sick so the men had to go and buy a bunch of water for us. We finally got on the ride to find that it was pointless. We ended our day at the World of Color. The World of Color is a water show. During this water show the water puts on different films of Disney shows. We watch this show every time we go to
The plane ride there was three hours long. It was a little bumpy, but other then that, everything went well. We landed in Orlando. The airport was gigantic. After walking for a while, we found the baggage claim. It took us a while to find all of our suitcases. We rented a car and drove to my Uncle Joe’s house. We were going to be staying with him for a week. It was nice to see him and my cousins Brandon and Audrey.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
I can still remember how excited I was before take off, I mean it felt like forever while we sat in the plane waiting to take off. Just all the anticipation that was inside of me had just made the wait even longer for me. Finally, I heard the pilot say 'prepare for take off'. When I heard those words I was so overjoyed I could hardly contain myself. That rush I got once the plane took off was an experience like no other. The plane ride was about hours long and I enjoyed every minute of it. Little did I know, that was less than half of the fun I was going to have at Orlando.
