One bright and sunny morning, my Family planned an exciting trip to a land of make believe.we woke up early and i had no idea that we were on our way to an adventure. When suddenly, I look up and mickey’s face is on an enormous ferris wheel. I realize our adventure is leading us to Disneyland.my first time to Disneyland was remarkable because of thrilling rides, amazing structures, and the firework show.
The rides were the best part of Disneyland my favorite ride was the enormous ferris wheel.the scariest ride was the Haunted Mansion.I enjoyed this ride because you can see the whole amusement Park. The scariest ride was the Haunted Mansion. It was frightening because There was ghosts having a party and from the ride you can see them then there was lights shining down on them then the ride keeps going then the lights go out and you can see nothing then it keeps going then you go out of the darkness then at almost the end of the ride there's these three picture frames and you can see your reflection but you were ghosts. Then me and my brother went on an enjoyable small ride so me and my brother was waiting for the amusing ride then we finally went on the ride.I was full of

The first place that caught my attention was the Disney castle. The Disney castle was so colorful like it looked like It glowed then we headed over to the Disney castle. It made me so cheerful so me, my brother, my mom, and grandpa I was so happy inside and i was so excited to be there we went to go see on the inside of the castle and on the left side there was stairs leading up. Then we went up the staircase and it was actually sleeping beauty's half of the castle. Then on the wall we could see sleeping beauty singing and humming with the birds and animals. Then we went up some more and saw her sleeping in her nice comfy bed. Then we went back down stairs and then when we went forward we saw the other half of the Amusement
When we left the hotel, my parents had a tough time finding the theme park. There were so many overpasses and lanes, my dad missed the exit a few times. Luckily, my dad finally got off at the right exit. When we first arrived, I was so excited. I had never seen so many seen so many people in one place, and the climate was very different compared to El Paso. I remember listening to the roars of the roller coasters and the screams of the people on them. We finally got into the park. As we entered, I remember it being very humid and moist. There were so many different smells coming from the restaurants.
You could fit all of Disneyland plus 500 more cars into the parking lot at Disney world. Disney world is 40 sq. miles. To put that in a visual for you it’s the size of all San Francisco. Walt Disney created Disney World because he wanted a place where families could spend quality time and fun together in a safe environment. Disney World’s Magic kingdom is number one world wide the most popular theme park in the whole world with Epcot at a close third. Also according to Buzzfeed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the most enjoyed ride at Disney World, and you don’t want to miss out on that. In 1971, 10,000 people came to Disney World’s grand opening. Today the average attendance is 52,000 it says in temporary tourist. Disney world has changed
The idealization of Victorian values began in the eighteenth century with the wealthy upper-class. Victorians were classified as the elite that partook in aristocratic fun. They participated in military sports, organized theater, fine arts, and classical music. As the years progressed, the middle-class emerged, modernizing Victorian principles. Their careers comprised of successful business men, skilled craftsman, and politicians. The elite men were White, Anglo- Saxon, Protestants, that produced and regulated the industrialization of popular culture. The Victorian middle-class was considered the most powerful group from the 1830’s- 1916. Victorians cultivated the consumer revolution, by purchasing luxuries, including, books, mirrors, furnishings,
Every year since I was a freshman in high school my family would all pack into our car and head to Six Flags for my father’s job. This was usually one day I could count on for unexpected entertainment. Each year was a new experience in the making because one year it may be sunny or one year it may rain, but HEY! Its Georgia weather what can you do about it?
Do you believe in magic? No? What if you had traveled the entire world in a day? What if you had been to Mars and back? What if you had been inside an extraordinary castle? There is a place that will truly make you believe in magic: Disney World. In this famous tourist destination, you can travel the world and space in Epcot and visit beautifully breathtaking Castles in Magic Kingdom. Disney’s amusement parks are known to be magical places. I hate to spoil the reason but they create their magic through their architecture and design. From Pandora, the world of Avatar, to Cinderella’s iconic Castle, these parks’ architecture aims to give their clients an unforgettable experience. You may be wondering how does this happen. Well, truth is... if architects are good enough, they can determine how we experience a place and the state of mind we are in. For that reason, when people travel all the way to Florida, Shangai, California or Paris to go to Disney World, they feel young at heart and
When I met Mickey Mouse for the first time at fifteen years old, I could not stop smiling because he is my favorite cartoon character of all time. I hugged him tight and took a picture with him. The food is amazing and delicious, but also reminded me of the old days. The ideas put into making the food is important. There are many types of food and each one brings out the kid in me. The taste of glazed turkey legs with a sweet glaze made my taste buds go crazy. The different restaurants have some of the best food and favorite snacks. The ice cream is soft and tastes like real homemade ice cream that is creamy and sweet. The music is loud and fun and made me feel happy. Hearing the sound of cars zooming on Test Track and the screams of people on Space Mountain in the dark enjoying the ride. I went to the Tower of Terror for the first time this past March and I was scared out of my mind. It was a great ride, but it would go from the very bottom floor to the top floor and it was fast. The sound effects of electricity flowing in the air and darkness everywhere made me feel like I was in a real scary movie. The feeling of vibration and falling in the air on the Tower of Terror made me feel suspenseful. The feeling and taste are amazing. Sight
The next day we went to Hollywood Studios at Disney World. It was really hot that day, but it was still super fun. That was my first time going on a roller coaster. I was really scared, but my parents convinced me to go on one, and now I love roller coasters! We went on this ride that was supposed to be like flying through the sky around the world called Soarin’. It was a really cool experience. We also went on this ride called the Tower Of Terror. It was really fun.
As the ride went on, the song “It’s a Small World After All” would play, and I would look at my grandma and she would have this happy face and she would be clapping along to the music. I myself enjoyed the ride because it was meant to be a happy ride, and let me tell you, it certainly was happy. Those rides were really fun to go on, but they didn’t give that intense feeling that I was looking for. Enter Splash Mountain, my personal favorite ride from the Magic Kingdom. The reason this was my favorite ride is that when we went on it, we all got soaked.
As Robbins said, the Disneyland was just like a special place for people’s imagination such as being a prince or princess, and more and more could enjoy the emerging middle-class part of the United States. The trip also made their “marvelous Disneyland dream actually come true.” The trip was recorded by Robbins with a movie camera and evoked the wonder and possibility of a middle-class
The first theme park opening in 1955 was Disneyland in California. After one full year of construction demands and a total investment of $17 million the Six thousands invitations to the grand opening had been mailed inviting people to experience the magic Disney had created but when the gates opened the Disneyland was far from magical. Workmen were still planting trees, the paint was still wet and the asphalt wasn’t set. The food stalls and restaurants ran out of food due to the high number of people because of counterfeit tickets being sold. Walt Disney didn’t know didn’t know what was going on because his attention was on the live broadcast. The rides broke down shortly after use. When Walt Disney World opened in 1971 the
...nts' house. She spent many hours with me making cookies and teaming up on my brother. I told her all my secrets and dreams. When I had to go back home, she would always write me letters. They were actually written by my grandpa. My mom tried to read them to me, but I wouldn't let her. However, I didn't know how to read, so I finally had to give in and let her read them to me.
The Main Street station, is the curtains to a large production as if the Magic Kingdom was a theater. As I wander beneath the archway, I notice that above the arch is a plaque that reads: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy”. As I continue to stroll through the passage on the way to Main Street, there are posters of “upcoming attractions” that line the walls on both sides. I then step into Main Street U.S.A. and begin to hear the Victorian style orchestra playing over the speakers. I notice some Disney pals in Town Square greeting guests as if they were old friends. Then I begin to travel further down the street, and the smell of the caramel apples, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweets walk out of the open doors of the bakery and into the street. At the end of this turn of the century town, sits the one hundred eightyninefoottall, Cinderella Castle. This moment is a pivotal moment in any Disney vacation, because the castle is well known to millions. I get
Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
The whole drive there I was just wondering what I was going to do and see over there. I mean I thought I thought I was excited about my plane ride there, but that wasn?t even half of what I was feeling at that time. Once I saw the roller coasters as we drove to Universal?s Island of Adventure my face just lit up like the sun.
