Hello, I am Deepti (pronounced as Dip-Dee) I am 18 years old just graduated high school in may of last year. This is my first year at RMCAD I am earning a Bachelors in Illustration. With this degree I plan to become an art teacher, in the future, after a while of teaching, I really hope that I can make it to the point where I can live by selling my artwork. I think that would be really cool! Based on my history of writing my favorite type of writing is poetry. It can be so easy but complicated at the same time. It really can make the writer think and the reader. My least favorite is creative I am not a very creative person and I am the type of person who needs directions for everything haha... My strengths as a writer is opening my mind to
Over my career of schooling my writing has changed dramatically at times and very little at others. Through my years of schooling people have determined my main weaknesses and strengths that I should work on with my writing. My biggest weakness is writing introductions and conclusions they must be so complicated and require so much thought to be defined as good. I excel at writing body paragraphs and explaining all the facts that back up your main ideas though.
My relationship with writing has been much like roller coaster. Some experiences I had no control over. Other experiences were more influential. Ultimately it wasn’t until I started reading not because I had to read but because I wanted to, that's when my relationship reached change. I would have probably never cared about writing as I do today if it weren't for the critics in my family. When I was a child, my aunts and uncles always been in competition with who's child is better in school. I have always hated reading and writing because of the pressure to prove my family wrong was overwhelming for me. I had to prove them wrong and show them that I was capable of being "smart" which according to them was getting straight A's in all your classes.
Another one of my strengths as a writer and a student is my determination to complete every assignment to the best of my ability. I have never been the type of student that does not get her work done, whether it be an essay for English or a workbook page for Geometry. I work diligently in all my classes and aim to learn as much as I can from every assignment. Since English is not my best subject, I work twice as hard to improve every day and bring out the best writer in me. My determination is what drove me to enhance my weaknesses and polish my strengths.
I don’t see myself using writing a lot in my future. I will only use writing when I need to for business. I am not going to go around writing all the time and I don’t see myself using writing a lot when I am done with school. So, I am going to try not to use writing a lot but when I need to I know I will have the skills to write. Hopefully I can get by with as little writing as possible once I am done with school. I don’t want to have to write much I my schooling, but I know I will have to some. However, I won’t be doing a career where I have to write a lot.
In this paper, I am to write about my strengths and weaknesses in writing. This is not an easy task for me because I have never considered myself a writer. Reading other peoples thoughts are activities that are more my speed. I simply have trouble putting my thoughts into writing. Since, I do not feel that I have many strengths, let's move on to my weaknesses.
I suppose it’s a good thing that many things shaped my literacy skills. A dozen heads are better than one, after all (and to think out my ideas, sometimes I need those extra brains, but that’s what friends are for). I’m confident that I will succeed in the writing field, wherever it may be – literature, movies, gaming – and I’m forever thankful for my talents, for I know that so many others have not had the encouragement or will to read and write as I have. So, here’s to the future of my writing, and hopefully it will be just as creative as my past was.
My strengths as a writer are that my papers are very well developed, they have always been graded and ranged from a high B to an A. I always meet the requirement, but I don't add as much detail as I should. I have a good style and organization. I always make sure to keep my papers in order. All of my papers have spelling errors but is not bad enough for the reader to get confused while reading. Readers can easily follow my papers with no struggles. I use a variety of simple and complex sentences to structure my papers. I do get quite a few comma splices, but never to many run-on sentences or fragments in my paper. My papers do have a good word choice that include imagery and figurative language. I don't use super strong verbs in my papers and I also have grammatical errors in my papers as well.
One of my strengths that I have as a writer is I like telling story so I always come up with a story because when I write I always have a planned story in my mind and I just put it down words on paper. Also before write I plan what I am going to write. This way of writing is very effective because usually I gather research and write down the important points and my own explanations. In fall quarter, I had a research paper instead of a midterm exam. My strengths as a writer helped me very much in my research paper and I got A grade in that
I am not the kind of person who talks or writes much. Putting my thoughts on papers is something I have always struggled with doing. I believe this class will help me improve on transferring my thoughts to paper, in an organized fashion. I look forward to becoming a better writer because of this class.
My strengths quest test results are very helpful when planning for my future. It is often hard to assess our own values and talents on our own, so I especially appreciate this test for helping me identify them. As Craig Benson defined for us, a “talent is how you naturally feel, think, and act. To be successful from your talents you must build on them, capitalize on their uniqueness, apply them to your daily life, and continue to invent from them(Benson,2018).” Two of my strengths identified my strengths quest are restorative and woo.
Hi Mr. Whiler! It's me, Dayita. You already know me, but hopefully with this paragraph you will learn even more about me. I'm 16 and I live here in Markham, but I haven't lived here my whole life.
My five greatest strengths are adaptability, communication, honesty, leadership, and organization. I have utilized these strengths in so many areas of my life. I am very strong with adaptability, it's easy for me to catch on to a lot of things. If someone was to show me a particular task the right way, I will catch on with know problem. Communication is one that I plan to improve on in the future.
Ever since I was little I have openly expressed my creativity. At some point in my life I have been involved in every form of the arts: drawing lessons and dance classes in elementary school; chorus and martial arts in middle school; theater, writing, and piano during high school. I am particularly skilled in writing. I have read many different genres and writing styles so that I could learn to compose diverse forms of literature, making me a very versatile writer. But I also see the world in a creative light. I find pleasure in fantasy and folklore; I am allured by legends and myths. I have a very active imagination and tend to...
I often describe myself as an animal lover, very outspoken, but shy at the same time. I have never described myself as a writer the reason being I’ve never been good at expressing myself on paper. At first, when I am about began to write I think to myself this is it, this will be the greatest essay I’ve ever typed, this will be the greatest statement ever written. My mind quickly changes when I start to realize that I have nothing to put down on paper.
I am a highly creative person. Ever since I was a child I have been creative. When I was eight-years-old, I started to draw my own cartoon characters. As a result I began to create short books about my characters. At this point, everyone knew me as the cartoonist. People would always come up to me and ask me to draw them. When I was ten-years-old, I started to combine Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Movie Maker to make short animations. When I turned fourteen, I started to use Adobe Flash to make animations. With the help of my friends, I created a series of animations. After two years, I stopped making as many animations as I used to because I was attracted to music production. To this day, I do a little bit of animation and music production, and I enjoy preforming it.
