Finally after four years of high school, I have made the decision of what field of study I want to dive into. It was a tough decision. But now I am in college and I feel as though I have made the right choice. We all have to do some job for this society, so I choose to be an artist. Being an artist is not easy. Artists are frequently productive. So why did I choose to be an artist?
I am a highly creative person. Ever since I was a child I have been creative. When I was eight-years-old, I started to draw my own cartoon characters. As a result I began to create short books about my characters. At this point, everyone knew me as the cartoonist. People would always come up to me and ask me to draw them. When I was ten-years-old, I started to combine Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Movie Maker to make short animations. When I turned fourteen, I started to use Adobe Flash to make animations. With the help of my friends, I created a series of animations. After two years, I stopped making as many animations as I used to because I was attracted to music production. To this day, I do a little bit of animation and music production, and I enjoy preforming it.
I have become more right-brained because of my childhood. As a result to that, I am a surprisingly visual person. I have many ideas and I do not just want to stick to one field in art. I enjoy drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, sculpting, videography and music production. For this reason, I am in the process of achieving a Bachelors Degree in Art.
Another motive to why I want to become an artist is because I want a job that fits me. I do not want a boring desk job, nor do I want an exhausting labor job. I can not sit down at the same desk everyd...

...de me in my drawing. After I finish, I notice things in my drawing that increase my awareness on my unconscious mind. This helps me develop a clear understanding of my ego and how I could take an advantage of my ego. Since my spirituality is a huge part of my life, I find being an artist the most rational thing for me to do.
I feel like my art gives me purpose in the world. I feel this way because I recognize how this is the way I will contribute to humanity. Even after I have gone, my spirit will live on throw my art. Since I was growing up, I was inspired by the entertainment business. When I join the entertainment business, I intend to inspire people in a similar way. I mainly want to be an artist because I have a variety of skills in art. I already have these skills, so it makes sense to become an artist. As long as I am happy, it is the proper position for me.
Although I am a fairly well-rounded student outside of school, I focus on the passions I am adept at: art and music. Creativity and thinking outside the box are skills that I have possessed and have developed over the years. It gives me great joy when I use my artistic and musical talents for the benefit of others, such as playing the piano and violin at a dinner honoring senior citizens or drawing pictures for young children at a Bible camp. Their smiles in appreciation of my service are priceless. My drive for excellence in my passions show that I give one hundred percent in all that I
The study of the mind, psychiatry, has in the last few years struck an interest within me. I wonder why we react differently when we face the same obstacles. For example, families with several children, raised by the same parents and in the same environment, yet turn out to be completely different individuals, sometimes very disturbed. The how, why and where of it all interests me. My immediate goal is to get my diploma and find out who I really am and what my soul desire truly is. I realize I have a deep desire to be of service to others. This is not a skill however, it's just me. I do feel one of my strongest skills is my artistic ability. I have a taste for and enjoy a diverse selection of movies, music, and reading material. I enjoy studying photography, biology, along with human behavior.
I consider myself to be creative. I am a henna artist and my interest in henna art and makeup has developed over the years. I am also gaining my qualification as a makeup artist at West Thames College. Being able to work as a team in the collage and interact with other people from different cultures and background has enhanced my communication skills. Ice skating and swimming allowed me to do something I really enjoy.
Of course, the term "creativity" is almost inherently ambiguous. What do I hope to achieve, or more specifically, what do I feel that I lack because of this supposed lack of personal creativity? When I think of creative minds, I imagine Pablo Picasso or Thomas Edison and the contributions they have made to society or the impact on our emotions. But fame or critical acclaim a...
Many of my friends pick their careers based on money and trade skills that they have. I am proficient in art and design, but didn’t feel like that was what I wanted to do for my career. Your career shapes a huge portion of your life. It is what you do every day, for a large portion of your life. It is what I have prepared for the past 12 or so years of my life. It is way more than just money or a skill. I wanted to do something unique, something interesting, something that would inspire me to be a better human, something that would make me feel, something that is challenging, something that helped others, and above all, something that was rewarding and made me feel fulfilled.
In addition to my academic interest, I also draw, paint, and sculpt in my free time and have taken classes dedicated to this interest. While most might not feel as if that sets them apart, I have used my creativity and abilities in the fine arts to my advantage. My creative edge allows me to carry out creative solutions to problems and labs in class that most others might not realize as a solution. Because of art, I have developed the mindset of analyzing problems by looking at the bigger picture and not only looking at the problem in real life but theoretically.
My present interest in art is more graphic/typography based, although I do enjoy all areas of art. I have been designing graphics on my computers from a young age and have work published in national magazines. Not all the graphical work I do is computer based, I enjoy using traditional mediums in a clean graphical way, as I find it more satisfying working on a larger scale and producing something more "real". My current course has helped me "branch out" more; I have experimented in many disciplines successfully producing paintings, pastels and drawings, which I had never really developed fully before.
I have grown to love dance even more than I did in my first class, and in my opinion I have gotten quite a bit better. I’m afraid that in other areas of art I can’t speak as highly of myself. My drawings have always been lackluster, my acting subpar, and my musical ability has
Throughout my life, I have loved to draw. Due to my love of drawing, I decided to take a career in something that has to do with art. A few things have happened in my life that has caused me to take this path. Three people that I have interacted in some way, are the reason for my choices.
When you love to do something, you want to do it every day, all the time, till you get sick of it. Even then that excitement and devotion to do it is still there. That is how I feel about art. I have a great passion for it. It is a form where I can express myself in a way words can’t.
Art classes throughout kindergarten and up to my junior year in college have taught me so much about expression, performance and making a statement. Learning and practicing art introduces a new way of processing information, and approaching problems. In my
I really love to draw and imagining my own little world. Watching many animations has influenced me a lot. I learnt how people made those animals speak, how those lifeless dolls become alive, and how another dimensions of mythical creatures can be created. Since then, I know that I wanted to do this for my whole life. It has inspired me to do something that I love as a career. Imagine that you are supporting your financial needs by doing something that you love. It has been my dream since a little kid to put my imagination to life.
I think about art often. My father is an artist as well as my sister. I grew up surrounded by art either in paintings, dance, or art performances I attended at my sister’s high school, the arts academy. My desire to create art must have a root in my childhood, where I was constantly involved in beautiful creations of the human
Imagine a painting of your life, what colors would be there? How would you show the different times in your life? Would you shade the areas where you had a hard time or use lines to show that? Being a artist that never truly finishes their work would be hard. When you are young, your enthused about painting. As you start to get older, all you want to do is visit with friends, so you miss that part of your life. Then you get back on track and work like crazy to make up wasted time. But you think to yourself “Will I ever finish my masterpiece or will it end when I do?”
During my whole life and experience I have been interested in the Art, Creativity, and I have been traveling around Graphics Designing. When I go out to centres, supermarkets, the high streets around Kingston anywhere in London, Germany and other parts of Europe which I have seen. I have seen lots of Graphics designs in advertising, Billboards companies for example in electronical products or any type of product the graphics advertising companies running around the world, just because of that I was inspired in the graphics designing and I was influence by the subject.
