Personal Narrative: My First Day Of Middle School

Mommy always told me that every action has a consequence whether it's good or bad. I thought that I was the only one who didn't know that rule. But turns out my friends didn't know that rule as well. Or should I say ex-friends. I had a happy life. I was never bullied or picked on or made feel like trash. I loved everything about my life, my family, my friends, and just my life in general. My family was always there for me no matter what and always gave me wonderful advice when I needed it. My friends always had my back when another kid picked on me or always found a way to make me laugh. I always loved art and music growing up as a kid. Remember deep breaths, good posture, amazing outfit and most importantly big smile. You can do this. It was my first day of middle school as a 6th grader and you know what that means. Fresh meat. I never liked school because I never made any friends, and it wasn't like I was anti-social and hated being around people. It's just I was afraid, and that may sound stupid that it's true. I'm always afraid someone will find some way to make fun of me or ruin my life. But since my parents forced me I had no choice but to see what middle school brings to me. I glanced at my schedule to find my 6 classes all labeled neat and Orderly and it was my English class with Mrs. Cooper. I walked in the classroom and everyone stared at me. Of course, the teacher wasn't in so class didn't start. I could feel my fellow classmates eyes go deep into my soul or something wondering what was wrong with me this time. Did I have something in my teeth? Does my breath smell? Are my pants sagging? All I knew was this was gonna be a terrible year already. I did what I thought was being positive and cracked a smile. Of course, that was the worst mistake I made. People not only started to look at me more but I could see in the back of the class people were whispering and looking at me. What she didn't know was those were exactly the girls who were talking about me when I cracked that smile, as well as those girls who were going to be my first friends in this place. Of course, since I was sitting next to them they chatted about me, even more, pretending I wasn't there or something. I could only make out a few words since the teacher was drowning them out.
