I threw my books on my bed and approached the jacket slowly, as if it was a stranger hand I want to shake. I touched the leather sleeves those long leather jacket and the dark black color jacket. From the kitchen my loving, kind, sweet mother said my jacket was in my closet. What! No I loved this jacket I didn't want my perfect leather zip, stud perfect jacket to be my pesky brother’s! Walking as slow as a person walking to their cruel fate. I searched that closet from head to toe but I had no luck finding the other jacket the one my the bed was all mine. I wanted to cry I had never had a jacket this nice before.
I put on my rad jacket!
I zipped it up and down and combed my hair to the side. I put my hands in the huge pockets. I flapped the sleeves like a soaring eagle.

I ran up the stairs and started to study.
I wore that jacket to school the next day looking like million bucks. As soon as I walked in all the girls started talking probably about how good I looked. That same morning I got a A- on a math quiz. During that morning's recess my best friend Steve Negrete spited an apple with me and we talked about how good I looked. All the teachers looked at me like I was the king of the world. Also, all the girls on the money bars watched me and whisper about how good I looked.
During lunch even though it was cold, I took of my jacket because I didn’t want to spill on my new jacket. Right after eating I put my jacket back on and played kickball with all the boys. Then we got back into class my teachers said to me well taking attends, “ Nice jacket Robert” I was on cloud nine when she said that to me. Then the fire bell rang, we all paraded out into the yard where we, the sixth grades, walked past the other grades. I watched all the 7th and 8th grades girls look at me and smile at me, I looked so fresh and cool and all the girls knew
I got dressed as fast as I could so I could make it to Strawberry with my papa. At this time of year in Mississippi weather was always chilly. So I made sure to put on my warm jacket. But in the 1930s no clothes was really warm, we couldn't afford the good jacket that I wanted but at least I wasn't like Cassie who wore ugly clothes. I suddenly thought of Jeremy and I had to make sure he was getting ready. I yelled at the top of my lungs, “JEREMY ARE YOU READY YET? WE HAVE TO GO TO STRAWBERRY TODAY!”
I walked in and my stomach made a flip-flop like riding “The Scream” at Six Flags. Everyone was staring at me! With their curios eyes and anxious to know who I was. I froze like ice and felt the heat rise through my face. My parents talked to my teacher, Ms.Piansky. Then my mom whispered “It’s ti...

It was a warm April day and all of the students were let out of school for the day. I went home to finish packing with the help of my parents making sure that I had everything and I wasn 't forgetting. I was excited for a week now to go on the trip to Washington D.C. with the whole 8th grade class for a week.
I got to my swim class and sat down. It was a very warm day, a day that I would remember for a long time. Well we all sat on the dock listing to them give instructions on what to do and stuff like that. But I was hot, so I took off my shirt, first mistake. The girls sitting across from me stared at me and were whispering to each other, but I had no idea what they were saying. So I did the class but as I got out of the water I was behind the two girls. They were laughing, the first one said
Mrs. Bigio started off with a cautious, tyrant, irritable attitude towards people she thought that she hated. She unintentionally judged people by their covers. Mai Thai was nothing like her people, but Mrs. Bigio didn’t take time to realize that, to get to know her. Then things changed, and she learned two things, you can be open and honest towards the people you love and trust, and you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. And with just those two lessons that she learned she is now kind, confident, and very independent, she’s also very responsible, loves to try new things, and I think she definitely has her priorities straight.
and I was getting 20 marks, I was the first in my school. After 2 years, they took me to a park while my sister in school, they forgot me there. In the night, I was very scared, they were no children around and the park was closed. Two or three gangsters - I don't exactly remember - came and tried to kidnap me, they were too scary, but the guard of the park came and helped me, he was a nice guy.
Walking around, I stuck out like a sore thumb and got a lot of hate for how I looked. One day I had scavenged enough money to buy a school lunch for myself. Heading over to my corner seat in the cafeteria, a kid named Milt approached me with his gang of about six friends. They stopped me in the middle of the cafeteria and asked where I was going. I really didn’t want trouble so I tried stepping around them, but in return I got pushed back.
The first few periods of class were spent getting to know everyone. Recess came around and one again, she held the door open for everyone. When all the kids were outside she didn’t know where to go. She decided to just lean on the wall and watch everyone. Three girls who seemed to be the popular ones in the class started to walk up to
The first day of school started and Kandy was in 10th grade. Her new clothes got her a lot of attention, everyone complimented her about how they loved what she was wearing. That was the only thing she was confident about, her clothes. She knew that her style was awesome. Her best friend, Ang, was in two of her classes. Kandy thought that this would be the best year of school because she never had any friends in any of her classes before. Turns out they both had the same lunch. They would talk up by the road, on the sidewalk, to Speedway everyday for lunch. For some reason people would always honk at them and one day a girl yelled out the window and called them sluts. Obviously because she was jealous. The first few days of school went by fast, then kept getting slower and slower.
“We cannot forget that reinforcing economic differences drives students further apart when schools should be drawing them closer together.” There are many problems in public schools with no uniforms. The use of school uniforms could eliminate some of these problems. Although school uniforms may take away a child’s individuality, there are more benefits than disadvantages to having school uniforms in public schools because school uniforms lessen the money spent on the latest fashion trends and school uniforms provide a positive school climate.

Every day someone made fun of me.I was the laughing stock at my school.I was so happy that today was the last day of high school.I knew college was going to bring alot of new people into my life, and was also going to give me a chance to have friends. When I got home I quickly got ready, I ironed my cap and gown, did my make-up and hair, and made my last phone call to Andrew. I called him right before I left and asked him if he was sure he did not want a ride. Again he responded politely and on my way I went. When I got to the high school everyone was taking pictures, laughing, and talking about how they were g...
So one day after school my older brother took me to the gym. After I changed into my gym clothes in the locker room, I sat nervous on the patted mat by the rock climbing tower/boulder waiting for the instructor to walk in and other students to show up. After a few minutes the instructor walked in. She smiled really big, so big that I saw t...
