Starting Middle School changed how I felt about school in general as I wasn’t babied anymore.
I also got super nervous during this time, the first day my knees were shaking and I had sweaty hands. The next week I was less nervous and I met lots of new friends well as being reacquainted with old friends. Here at the middle school it was huge, only 2 middle schools here in Derby, Kansas. To be honest Derby is a really competitive all around small town. I was super nervous that first day, I was all blushed out like a tomato. I still remember that first day. A couple years ago I was introduced to Derby Middle School, to me back then it was a HUGE building I mean it looked like a high school which it was at one time. I didn’t even know what time
Ask yourself, how was your 8th grade year… Was it good, bad, fun, or stressful? Well most of my 8th grade year was bad but the ending actually turned out good. The start of my year was exciting, but that was just the beginning. As time went on and the work started to come in, that's when things turned south for me. I started stressing about everything I had to do, I was getting to overwhelmed. I would catch myself slipping constantly and it was worrying me because I didn't want to get held back a year. I slowly started to lose all interest in all of my work.
Middle school was a amazing experience, for me anyway. I, myself have changed tremendously from the beginning of 6th grade to the end of 8th grade. Not just in appearance either, on the inside as well.
you get to middle school you learn more in depth about everything you learned in
We came into middle school with no idea what to be prepared for. None the less, we made it. We were the youngest. Fifth grade ...
McNeil High School in 2013, I was excited and anxious to start the high school
Fifty percent of people remember their first day of middle school. Getting for the first day of school can be confusing or it can be easy. First you have to go to open house and get supplies and memorize your schedule. School will end up easy if you know your schedule and get all your things together.
My freshman year at Cleveland Central Catholic was the best year of highschool for me it's where i met most of my friends and where i learned advanced classes i had a lot of fun although i was one of hundreds of new kids going to Cleveland Central Catholic High School i was happy and nervous to go there i didn’t know what would people think of me or if i would make any friends. All of the freshman had an orientation which is like a day with freshman only to get to know all around the school like our classes where our gym was located the lunch and gym was separated from the school that was something new because i never seen anything like it the school was so big i was nervous for my actual first day.
I was sitting on the grass at Kemper Elementary School with four of my closest friends we were waiting patiently lock n’ loaded with water guns sitting at our sides waiting for the teachers to get outside and all of the other student's. When the rest of the teacher’s and student's got outside the student's grabbed their water guns and went to the other side of my friends and I. It was field day.
Luckily there was some other 7th graders there that made me feel welcomed. The first day was not as hard as I thought. The weeks after that was total death to me. I had came from a swimming program that worked on mostly technique, and not very much intensity. The day before the first day of school, I had my first meet ever.
It was a winter day in a small village called Lakeside with a population of about only 700 in Germany, where Lauren, a blonde haired girl with a bob haircut and is fun to be around and clumsy... Gracie, a girl who has long brown hair that blows in the wind and always has the latest fashion and shoes and loves to wear makeup, and Sophie, a girl who has short brown hair and is skinny and will laugh at about everything you say, attended Lakeside Middle school, love to learn, and be friends. On Thursday at school one day there conversation went like this,
My most memorable day in the middle school has to be probably my last day. During a track meet last year I tore my meniscus and was on crutches for more then a month. When I had two working knees the walk that felt like a two minute walk soon turned into what seemed like miles of sidewalk. It took me more then 10 minutes to get to the middle school and I was to much for the first week. I didn 't show up for three classes. Mrs. Kelly knew why though email but to this day I still don 't know if she told the students what happened. When I finally got used to my crutches I was able to walk over the what seemed like huge campus lot and up the elevator. When I hobbled into the classroom the look of happiness and worry that covered each of the students face and the simple " Sam, what did you do?" exclaimed from a student I will call Joseph. It was that simple remark that showed I did matter to the students. Their first thought when I joined the class might have been that I was going to be easy to fool I see that by the end of the year it changed to a friendship like no
On the night before the first day of high school, I was the most nervous thirteen year old in
My education began in fifth grade, my parents moved from one location to another. It wasn’t easy for me, because school was the first place I ever got to interact with other kids. Before school started, I was pretty much kept indoors and not allowed to have contact with other people, except for my family members.
I thought to myself that I was pretty excited to attend first day of school as a grade 10 student, im officially not a freshman anymore, I always hated being the new kids and hated not taking showers in the first day of school because my little brother is so annoying and honestly wants to ruin my life so I just put my hair into a quick bun and headed to school
