Going back to school after summer was something I looked forward to. Seeing the friends I missed over the summer was something very cool. This past summer was by far my favorite. There was a party literally every night, I went to Florida to check out my future college, we went to Minnetonka on a friend's boat and much more. My favorite was going to the lake with everyone. We stayed out there all day and just hung out. Coming back to school was a huge transition. I had to change my sleep schedule from sleeping in until 11:30 AM to waking up at 6:00 AM. That was my toughest challenge excluding the need to begin a study habit during the weekdays. Studying is honestly my least favorite thing to do when there are so many other things I could be doing other than that. Overall the return to school was exciting for me considering it is Senior year, and we only have two semesters of school left! Time flies in High School and I never thought I would be here today!
The best day of my life would be Spring break of 2015. I had the opportunity to travel down to Lídice, Panama. My Grandparents moved there after they retired and now buy and sell houses there! Traveling around Panama for 14 days was one of my favorite trips I have been on! The country is so

In 5 years from now, I hope to be in the start of Law School. I would like to become a lawyer once I complete college. Becoming a lawyer is something that has always interested me. I would not like to be a tax or some boring property lawyer. I would like to do something interesting and intense which is the practice of the Criminal area. The money is good and it is very interesting. Going through 7 years of college can be hard, but I believe that I can complete it. Once I have been in the practice of Law for awhile, I would like to invest in Firms or become an athlete’s agent. Many agents are lawyers or were lawyers in the past, so I think that would be a great plan for the
Gone Fishing. It was an exciting day for me, and I didn’t even know what was going to happen. My grandpa came to my house and then he told my brother Luke and I that he was going to take us on a fishing trip to Canada with his friend. We were so excited when he told us I told Grandpa, “This will be the best summer vacation ever!” After he told us we went and got gear like fishing poles, rain suits and food.
I had the most epic summer ever. When school ended, my mom shipped me off to Crane Lake Camp for my fifth year. I appreciated the Berkshire scenery for a month and made the friends of a lifetime. My favorite part of camp was simply hanging out under the huge oak trees with my friends while watching the sunset. On the 4th of July, we celebrated with carnival games and a bouncy house. We played all day and watched the fireworks on the beach at night. After that, we stayed up all night watching movies. We won Fight Song, our annual lyrical competition, and that night we were on top of the world/invincible. A few days later, our group traveled to Montreal where we fought in laser tag, raced in ice skates, screamed at 6 flags, and slept in dingy dorm rooms.
Going back to school at 30 is not the same as going back to school at 20, especially when you’re a single parent with an established career. Returning to school never left my mind throughout the years, I received my associates seven years ago and between then and now a lot had changed. So many questions I asked myself; do I have the time, who can help watch my daughter, can I juggle another load, etc. I answered every one of my questions; unfortunately I gave myself excuses instead. The decision going back to school was overwhelming because it was taking up another full time job; making it a priority and possibly putting in overtime to study and do homework.
Just this year for spring break I got the chance to go to Florida with my one of my good friends again just like last year. It was a lot more memorable this year only because we actually did things as in go places I haven’t been to or got to do. I also got to go visit my grandma and grandpa while I was down in Florida. My grandma and grandpa planned things for us to do which was pretty fun and cool. My grandma set up an airboat ride for me and I have never been on one of those before and I got the chance to, I was pretty darn excited to go on the airboat. I saw ten foot gator which was pretty cool, I enjoyed it very much. When I was also in Florida we went to Disney Universal Citywalk to go to this theater to see the Blue Men Group, now that
What do you want to be when you grow up? I have been asked this question so many times. Well, my answer to that question, now that I’ve actually thought about it, is a lawyer. I picked a lawyer specifically because I do want a career in law, not so much as a judge, senator, a representative, a detective, a police officer, or a F.B.I. agent; I simply want a law career. I looked into good law schools in the US and I picked Harvard, UCLA, and Indiana University. I also looked at the steps to become a lawyer in Indiana specifically. I have always been interested in a education from Indiana University, but I could never figure out what I wanted to do. Now that I know what I want to do I can finally think how a lawyer relates to my personality.
Honk! Honk! Oh no, I’m going to miss the bus.I’m going to be late on the first day going back to school.I’m nervous about going to the eighth grade. It’s going to be a scary, exciting, and educational year of school. If I’m lucky I probably might survive this year.Let us have a wonderful year of school and learn as much as we can to be successful.
It all started a week before the new school year. The year of the sneezing, coughing and nonstop runny nose was preparing its over throw of summer. I wasn't too excited about it. In fact I dreaded it. Advertisements came flying through the mail. Every one of them had printed boldly "Back To School" and "Back to School" again. It made me sick to my stomach. I threw every ad in the garbage. I never knew it but this school year was to change my view of school and the people in it completely.
I want to become a lawyer because I’ve always been interested in the occupation and I want to help people. To be more specific I want to be a prosecutor. I used to watch shows such as Criminal Minds and Law and Order and I also watched the news. While watching the news, I began to think that not all criminals are getting caught, and they are starting to do more and more things to damage the world. I can’t stand thinking that people are doing horrible things and thinking its okay. I want to be able to put those people in prison where they belong.
people think that in someone's mind that the best day of the year is their birthday. but for me, it is the 15th of March. that's the day when my two sisters were born. You may now think that my mum and dad have been hiding secret baby don't worry it's not like crazy even though they are. my second sister is Noa.
I never knew returning to school would cause so much disruption in my life. I figured that I could handle a couple of classes here and there, and eventually I would get a degree in something. I just knew that my household would run on autopilot, that I could keep a full-time job and keep up my grades, and that my family would suffer no undue stress because I was attending school. How wrong I was! The three major pressures facing me today as a student are making good grades, making a living, and making my family happy.
Five years after graduation I plan to obtain a master's degree in law enforcement. Right now I'am really not sure what I really want to truly do for the rest of my life. The only thing I like doing is finding clues and figuring out the criminal in mystery books.
Just going through life is an experience . By doing things wrong you learn how to get them right. The life lessons we learn by growing up. The responsibilities we have to take on as an adult. Learning who is going to be there for us and pick us up when we fall. These little things we experience going through life is what makes us who we are. The lessons the knowledge and the friends are all with you everyday. As I embark on this incredible journey of going back to school I know all my little life experiences will be in my head motivating me and helping me make the right decisions and keeping me on the right track. As a child growing up you experience things that will help you your entire life. Riding your bike is and experience every kid goes through. I know
It is almost summer, so the school year is coming to an end. I feel like I have had many highs and lows, did many fun activities and have had many friendships throughout the school year. There have been many highs and lows in this school year, but overall I feel it was a really great year. I feel that I have grown in academics. I think one subject is math.
...new classes, I soon realized what would be the biggest challenge of college: deciding on a major. Yes, I am one of those people who started college without first declaring a major. I soon heard every question, suggestion, and response regarding possible options. I even began concocting false majors to throw some people off. Large-Scale Demolition was a crowd favorite.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
