My Personality Profile People who have the ISFJ personality are generally exceptionally observant of everything around them. ISFJs can usually tell someone else’s emotional state, and if it is a terrible state, ISFJs try to be there for the person and try to support them. ISFJs are happy to comfort people and are excessively reliable when it comes to friends and family. ISFJ personality is also enthusiastic with their words and actions in front of loved ones. The imaginative side they hold also adds to their enthusiasm. One famous ISFJ that people could admire is Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. Piglet is always there for his friends and even strangers, even when he is anxious. Piglet is highly imaginative and notably reliable. He supports his
The NFs temperament is described as a friendly person that is always thinking about how to make other people happy. Also, the person tries to maintain conflict away from his/her life by keeping morale high in the group and nurturing self-image in his/her family members. Furthermore, is important to maintain friends, family, and colleagues part of the circle, so no one feels left out. According to Kiersey (1998), “Myers saw her fellow NFs as ‘humane’ and ‘sympathetic’-as ‘enthusiastic’ and ‘religious’- as ‘creative’ and ‘intuitive’- and as ‘insightful’ and ‘subjective’” (p. 19). They can be stubborn; it is difficult for other individuals to change ISTPs’ habits because they can become blunt in their irritation. Virtuoso individuals have difficulties predicting emotions; they are most likely to treat their employees with fairness and making a decision that is not based on empathy. ISTPs use their logic to resolve a situation in the workplace environment, a situation that may require some empathy approach: people may portray their action as insensitive. They are a true introvert, keeping their personal matter to themselves and they prefer silence to small talks. Their private and reserved personality makes them difficult to get to know them or relate to them. They can easily get bored; they find it difficult to focus on long-term projects, once they understand the concept behind a project they find a new project to
My initial reaction to the personality test we took was surprising, I was surprised to see how much I had not changed since the last time I took the test. I took the same test last year, I took it in Future Focus the second trimester. Although it was only a year ago, many things can change in a year and the results could’ve changed from last year to this year. They didn’t so that’s good, well at least for me, its nice to know I'm consistent in my personality; most importantly it’s great to know that I haven’t had any outside influence that dramatically changed who I was. As any other man made thing, the personality description in my views is wrong in some areas. ISFJs as described by the article are very private about all their own personal feelings, thoughts, opinions, everything in general. I don’t keep all my emotions, problems, thoughts, or opinions to myself; I have a support group composed of my closest family, and friends. It would be very difficult to live that way, but I guess it is also in there for a reason. Overall the article was very accurate in their descriptio...
According to Jung/Meyers-Briggs personality indicator, I am introverted, sensing, feeling and judging in short ISJF. They are protectors, they primarily focus is the safety and security of those they care about. I believe that the test was fairly on target, I tend to lead my emotions by the impressions I see in the world. I’m extremely loyal to those I love and without a doubt would do almost anything for them. I find myself putting others before me and in the end I neglect my self which can manifest itself in being emotional. In an article written by Marina Margaret Heiss states,
As an ESTJ or any other type for that matter, one must understand what each of their four personality types are and how they fit with each other. David Keirsey expounds on the personality types described by Jung and Myers-Briggs to theorize on the temperaments associated with each of the 16 personality types. This theorization assists us in understanding how our types work together and describe who each of the types are. The temperaments are categorized by two letters that associate them with one of the 16 personality types. The “SJ” temperament is the one that is associated with an ESTJ. The S and J stand for sensing and judging. Keirsey describes “SJ’s” as security seeking and labels them as “The Guardian”. The temperament for an ESTJ includes an external focus, requiring logic which requires structure. ESTJ’s through their temperament are
Some not so great things about ISFJ’s include; they feel like they have to be needed, they can easily feel unappreciated and can be bad at delegating. “While their work ethic is high on the ISFJ priority list, their families are the centers of their lives.” (Margaret) ISFJ is one of the sixteen personality types identified in the Myers Briggs Typing. About 9% to 14% of the population is ISFJ. “The goal of knowing about personality type is to understand and appreciate differences between people.

I would say that it's safe to say that the Golden Personality test is rather accurate. I recall my principal quoting me as a "No nonsense type of gal who is probably still wearing her fatigues under her gown." when I graduated in the Michigan Theatre out of T.A. Wilson Academy. That stood true since I was enrolled in Army Junior R.O.T.C my junior year of high school. They have taught me a lot of things that is a big reason of why I am the way I am today. I still remain greateful today for the valuable lessons they have taught me, and I still find myself still abiding by a lot of the ethics that were instilled in me.
