Most people when thinking of a hero they view it as someone from the military who has horrific stories to tell. Someone famous who walks down the red carpet and signs autographs, or someone that changed the world. But from my point of view my hero is my sister, Brooke Simonis because she has changed my world in more ways than you can believe. Brooke is my hero because she my second favorite women in this world, she is very respected, and she is always trying to bring me up. Thank you Brooke for being my second favorite person in the world the first goes to my madre. You always know what to do when I do not. She is always guiding me in the right direction. For example, when I tell her something that I have done she always makes sure I know what could happen if I ever do it again- good or bad. She always has valuable advise and by being around her you feel like you can tell her anything. Another reason is because no matter what, she …show more content…
She owns her own shop called “Classy cuts” as a hairdresser, which is amazing to have something in this world that you know you created. People in my family respect my sister because she has done many things that we have not accomplished. For example, she has her own shop, most of the females in my family are jealous because she is having the first baby boy to come into the family. She also owns a beautiful house with a delightful husband. She has always guided the way for all the younger sisters with a clear pathway of what you should do. She knows a lot of people because of her business and many people respect her because her shop has provided her to show who she really is and what she loves doing. Being respected is such a good characteristic to have because being respected is not something you just get usually. You are responsible, kind hearted, polite and wise. When you know a person with those qualities it is hard not to want to look up to
Who is your hero? If that question was asked to a group of people, some might think of loved ones or family, and some may talk about doctors, firemen, or even a teacher. However, most would probably say their hero was some celebrity or star athlete. While some celebrities and athletes can justifiably be labeled "heroes", there are some people who may appear to be heroic, but lead a completely different life off the field.
For my hero´s journey, I chose to create a superhero called Violet. I chose the name Violet because the powers that Violet possess is a unique violet color. Violet is different from others people because she has magic powers that are like magicians. Her powers include optical illusions, levitation, and the power to make things disappear. Violet wears a blue cloak and uses a magic wand, to resemble an ordinary stage magician among the humans. She also wears purple striped pants and long brown boots. She must save the world from a powerful wizard named Alanzam, that wants to take over the universe and erase the human race. Along her journey, she meets another magic superhero named Jasper. Who lived on earth in secret, like Violet. The two face
There are many different ways people use to define heroes. Sometimes when we think of heroes, we think of super powers, strong people or someone brave and courageous. There are also a lot of heroes. When I think of a hero, I think of Harriet Tubman. Being born a slave herself, she knew the terrible lifestyle that they lived. Imagine her constant fear as she overcame her obstacles to help bring freedom to her fellow slaves.
A hero is someone you look up to, someone who has done something to inspire you, someone who is your role model. In our society, there are many different types of heroes—family, friends, teachers, firefighters, and police officers to name a few. But a hero that stands out to me is a U.S. soldier. Soldiers risk their lives every day just so we can have our freedom.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be fictional or nonfictional. Maybe a hero is a child or possibly an ordinary person. People can also have multiple heroes. Whatever, I think of my current hero, Erin Gruwell comes to mind. She is caring, selfless, and inspiring. Sometimes in life a hero commits minute acts of kindness.
Sometimes the biggest inspiration in your life stems from someone, or something who has little or no intentions to inspire at all. My neighbors Jack and Dorothy wake up every morning taking simple steps to do simple things, but to me it’s something way more. Dorothy veers around the age of ninety/ ninety-five. Unlike Jack, she takes her simple steps not in the house I grew up next to but in Marshall Manors Nursing Home. Dorothy is my Michigan hero because she’s taught me and so many others to never take things for granted.
My hero is Mae Jemison. She did everything you could imagine, including traveling to space. I had the chance to meet her and immediately took it. She is my inspiration for so many reasons. She is an astronaut, she is highly educated, she worked in the Peace Corps, and is always giving back to the community. This is why Mae Jemison is my hero.
A hero is a person who stands up for what she/he believes in, Omer Goldman is considered one. The military was such a huge part of Omer Goldman’s life she never questioned it (Omer Goldman). A trip to a small town called Shufa shocked Omer (Omer Goldman- Moral Heroes). She crossed a place where they wouldn’t let children pass to go to school and started talking to military guards then all of a sudden they got a call to open fire at innocent people (Omer Goldman). Omer then realized that after high school she would have to do injustices against the most innocent people (Omer Goldman). She has been to jail two times for her refuse to go to war (Tell Israel). Omer has courage, is good hearted, and is a role model for many people today.
Some might not consider this to have much importance but the rarity of these qualities in a person’s character makes her praiseworthy. She is the person that I constantly turn to when I have something to get off my chest, whether it is a rant about a mean teacher, or a lengthy description of how my parents were being unreasonable. She consistently shows patience in her ability to sit there and listen to me regardless of the amount of time that I spend talking and repeating myself. Patience is a virtue and she possesses it with grace. Also the kindness that she shows me and others around her, is incomparable to anyone I know. When we were visiting friends in another state, I got sick and started throwing up. Instead of leaving me to deal with it by myself, she stayed with me the whole time, brought me some pills and water, and then laid by me in bed for a couple hours until I felt better. She talked me through the entire ordeal and showed me her incredible kindness. Jennifer deserves praise and recognition for her character because not many other people, except my mother, would have done that. Her loyalty to me as a friend is unbreakable and I know that I can always depend on her. She will keep all of my secrets and look out for my best
Heroes are all around you and can be anyone you know. They don’t require any supernatural ability all they need is to have an impact on your life. We have received help weather we admit it or not and there are people willing to act as a hero in our lives such as teachers, parents, government. My hero was Kerry Mondestin and to me he is a mentor, father figure, and close friend who holds the nine characteristics of a hero. As I grow up I hope to become a hero similar to mine and later create more heroes
The earth is huge with all different kinds of everyday heroes. These heroes are all doing different things to help others all over the world. My Michigan hero helps me through stuff and always believes in me. She always helps me up when I'm down. She never gives up on me and always tells me that I can do stuff, even when I'm doubting myself. She walks me through tough times and convinces me to stay strong. My hero is my amazing and wonderful mother.
“I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people,” Maya Angelou. The word “hero” has many different meanings. It can be from the well-known heroes and most loved of all time, such as Superman, Batman, and Spiderman. It can also be someone who you wish to be, such as a firefighter, policeman, and a doctor. Everyone has a hero. My hero is a bit different though. Even though I am not close to my hero, I still look up to him. He is amazing. He changed my life and helped me in so many ways. I am lucky to call him my brother. He does so many awesome things that people cannot do. I am astonished at what he achieved. My brother is loving/caring, responsible, and he is really kind.
If you asked someone who their hero was, most likely they would respond with their mom, dad, grandpa, or aunt. In the books, a hero is defined as; a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. That being said, I feel like a hero shouldn’t be someone you see on a daily basis. What’s so outstanding about that? Wether it’s someone dead or famous, to me, a hero should be someone who is extraordinary. Maybe your mom or dad is extraordinary to you, but to me it should be someone more than that. Ariana Grande is a singer/actress who encourages me to follow my dreams, speaks out against bullying, donates to charities, and is extremely talented.
Everyone in this earth has a hero. People have heroes because they really admire that specific person and they really look up to that person. They really want to do what they have done and they have achieved in their lives. Likewise, I also have a hero. My hero is Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
When asked who their hero is, most people respond with the name of an athlete or an actress/actor. When asked who my hero is I would have to respond with a simple three letter word: mom. My mother has been the greatest inspiration in my life and is the main reason that I am where I am and who I am today.
