Education based on women’s clothing

Clothing to a lot of people is a a way to show other who they are and what they make of themselves and how they show that they are comfortable with their body no matter how badly others try to shame them for what they decide to wear in public. However for girls today that isn't easy when most of society deems girls as more of a toy that a person like they would a male figure; though we can't just leave the males out of this equation. On the ‘change.org’ website she made a petition to make a statement and to protest that the rules for her school and other places with the same or even more strict rules are too hard on girls and how they can or can not dress. Many girls at her school are constantly being told to go home to change and missing several classes which only hurts their grade and their potential at doing well in school and making their path for the future. Though when it came to the males at this school they are hardly ever pulled over and red carded for what they wear. The girl who started this petition was Hollie Sikes who stated that, “We cannot ignore the simple truth that clothing stores do not sell a wide variety of shorts for girls that are below fingertips length, if any, so young women are forced to wear long pants and jeans in 90-100 degree weather simply to avoid …show more content…

Now note that she had put on nipple stickers to prevent them from appearing through her shirt as she went through her daily routine of classes. But when an anonymous complaint was made Kaitlyn Juvik was sent home for making them feel uncomfortable with her no bra clothing choice. Kaitlyn makes a statement to KRTV saying, “The fact that I was told it makes people feel uncomfortable offended me because it's my body. It is my natural body and I’m not sure why that is uncomfortable to somebody.” Before leaving her home Kaitlyn did make sure that she followed her schools clothing handbook but nowhere does it state in the handbook of her school that one must wear a bra while attending
