In my opinion, all of the officers work very hard. According to the rule, you have to work from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, but they often stay late after that to finish their work. And when I’m in the Film Studio, all the staffs have to stay very late. They start to film around 1 PM and work until midnight or even later, despite the next day they still have to work soon at the office. Although it sounds very hard, but the atmosphere is not stressful at all. People communicate freely when they work and that give the atmosphere more joyful, active and comfortable. Such atmosphere motivates everyone to be more creative which is very crucial in Marketing and Communication field. Everyone in PR Department is very friendly and dedicated. They are willing to help me a lot to complete my Summer internship. Furthermore, the staffs here are very high educated, well-specialized knowledge in Marketing and Communication. And surprisingly, most of them are quite young, enthusiastic. This is one of the advantages of the department thanks to the youth spirit that they …show more content…
First of all, it is the spirit of responsibility. In the real working environment, time is very precious and your work influence many tasks of others and can influence directly the final results. Because of that pressure, you have to be always concentrated to work actively and finish work on time. Secondly, because things are more complicated in real life, I’ll have to be more careful and think deeply before doing anything. And last but not least, I’ll always have to try to adapt to culture and environment of my future workplace so that I can get on well with my colleagues and have a more comfortable feeling when working to express the best of
This report has looked at a process of development of a virtual marketplace; the real case of the Vauxhall Car company. Each phase of the process has a specific concept of development. The company uses an integrated marketing mix, with digital, social media and traditional advertising methods. These marketing tools mix is to support its main marketing strategy. Virtual marketing is a new phenomenon. There are some interesting success stories in the virtual marketplace. My duties and responsibilities as the marketing intern for AIM will be maintaining and updating the organization’s website and social media accounts, collaborate in planning AIM’s city-wide tennis tournament, identify sponsorship for AIM with local businesses, and work as a team with the Executive Director regarding how to increase AIM’s finances through different marketing
Digital marketers must keep up-to-date with the consumers preference, trends and needs, in order to meet these needs and to be able to remain competitive in the market . The connectivity created by digital media leads to enhanced product benefits such as online games and applications (Pride & Ferell, 2014). However, the use of the internet to sell products could be a disadvantage to the business since the goods being sold are intangible, the consumer could research and find reviews describing a product as low quality which could result in sale losses (Brand Driven Digital, 2013).
Business internships are helping students gain real world experience while they are not actually out in the real world yet. Internships are becoming more and more popular with college students in today’s world. An internship is basically when a student in college goes to a company or business and works while they are still enrolled in school and still getting academic credit. The main purpose of the internship is for the student to gain valuable on the job work experience. But there are also other things that a student can get from internships. Internships help the student decide whether or not this line of work is correct for them. Since the student works in an occupation in which they are highly interested in it really helps them get a bigger picture of the outside world.
The next set of goal setting importance is my personal goals with the first being to over come the obstacles associated with returning to school.
Before the internship, I thought judges were of course humans, but I was hoping they were nice. I thought it was going to be a bit intimidating, but I knew I looked up and aspired their profession. It was like the day I was going to meet my judge I was so nervous, yet I looked forward to it. I remember I was surprised different Judges would run their courtrooms differently. I thought they would kind of have a similar system for things, which they sort of do, but not completely. Generally speaking, the Judges are great individuals and are very unique. Most of the Judges have lived pretty interesting lives and seem to enjoy their jobs. The Judges seem to be very knowledgeable, and very considerate of the Jury, court reporters, and their clerks. The judges of course seem neutral when in front of the jury as expected. For example, Judge Lippitt, does not allow anytime to speak over each other in her court room she is always saying that they have to be respectful there is a human being recording this, referring to the court reporter. Then, she is very considerate of the Jury and their time, she will tell them the trial is longer at times to make them happy if it ends early. Further, Judge Lippitt really cares about the jury instructions and that they are as neutral as possible. Something I have learned from Judge Lippitt, is that you have to be very careful as a judge to notice when attorney’s are acting a little suspicious. Another very significant lesson I have learned from Judge Lippitt is that preparedness and awareness is really important.
My goals when I went into my internship were to learn more about catering specifically, however I wanted to learn as much as possible. I completed all of my individual goals that I started out with, as well as having
In 2012, eighty-four percent of Santa Clara University graduates who responded to a survey from the Santa Clara University School of Engineering obtained one or more internships during their undergraduate studies. Of those who responded, eighty-two percent were employed full-time after graduation earning a median salary of $62,500 (Santa Clara University). This research exhibits that internships can be an important strategy in the efforts toward job search for both students, as well as for employers looking to hire valuable employees. As defined by InternNE.com, an internship is any carefully monitored service or work experience that may be evaluated for educational credit in which an intern or student establishes learning goals and reflects on his or her learning experience in relation to achievement of the stated goals. Internships should first be examined that, when implemented at fullest potential, these opportunities can provide companies and students with a competitive edge in today’s business world. Subsequently, it can be shown that internships assist organizations and companies with temporary or seasonal project and task completion. Lastly, internships will be clarified as to how they allow students to gain valuable experience before entering the workforce. From reviewing an ample amount of research, internships are beneficial and advantageous to the success of a young student, as well as companies.
I would love to give myself new and valuable experience; while staying at Haskell. However, I would to see myself accomplish something higher in my
Technologies are increasing rapidly and shaping not only the traditional marketing but internet marketing as well. That is why marketers are facing a great global competition in terms of modern marketing. Marketers should know this thing that new technologies can help them by making their work simple, so they should shift to latest technologies and some new things. Business gets success when it comes with something new and interesting. That is why marketers must change their strategies as the tradition, trend, and environment changes. When we talk about changes and technologies, we can’t forget viral marketing, which is a form of fresh marketing. Many advertisers and companies are moving towards it. (H.B Klopper, 2002)
In the 1990s direct marketing became the most important tool in the mix because technology had enabled a form of communication by appealing directly to the target customer. This change led to new media formats, and the subsequent development of the Internet. Digital technologies have accelerated change in the marketing communications
Goals - My goals for my internship at the Rockford Center include: becoming more familiar with Social Workers in Rockford and also in other settings, learning how to interview patients on my own with confidence, learning how to execute the discharge process of patients independently without having to ask my supervisor for assistance, becoming more familiar with adolescents and being mindful of their feelings, being more patient with myself, learning how to create boundaries with patients and lastly being more assertive in the workplace. Since I am a visual learner, I believe that I can meet these goals by watching my supervisor when she interviews patients, when she takes notes during the interviews, as well as when she fills out the appropriate paperwork for each case. I also learn by simply doing tasks on my own as well. Thus, it is very useful for me when my supervisor tells me what she needs done and challenges me to remember the appropriate protocol for each task.
My internship experience this semester was interesting. I interned at ESH/MESH with Bridgeway. My Supervisor was Emilie Banz. I didn’t do much but I did learn a lot from this experience. I met a lot of great people and watch PsyR in action. I met a couple of individuals who were really cool. My experience this semester has prepared me for the next.
