Informational Interview

Assignment: For this project, you will conduct an informational interview with a person working in a position, occupation, graduate school or career field of interest to you. The individual you select should not be a relative or close friend. Interviews may be conducted by phone, but in-person interviews are preferred. An exchange of emails does not constitute an informational interview. Prepare at least 8 questions to ask in the interview, and send a thank you note after the interview. In order to receive full credit, you must complete each of the questions below. Answers must be written in complete sentences (no bullet points).

3) How did you find this individual? Was he/she immediately receptive to speaking with you, or did you have to convince him/her?
Response:
Melody Wang is a friend of my aunt, and I received the information about her through my aunt. She was willing to speak with me after I told her the reason why I am interviewing her for a school’s assignment.
