watch. I put the brownie mix and the cookies into the oven and set them for 25 minutes, which fit both of them perfectly. I jumped over the couch on top of Tiff, I could tell I frightened her, but I pulled her up off the couch gently and started dancing with her while Hannah was performing on stage in the movie. In this moment, everything was slow but amazing. Smiles were all around, and that's what it was always like. Everyone's happy and I could tell everyone was glad to be together. Somehow we all end up falling and lying on the floor next to each other. For the next 7 minutes we layed there and just simply talked about life. * beep beep beep * I get up from the crowd, “Cookies and brownies are done!”, I race everyone to the kitchen and pull them both out of the oven. The cookies look gooey, but a good, delicious kind of gooey. The brownies look perfect, puffed up, and just the right kind of hardness on the sides. It’s 12 past midnight and were all heading back up to Sam’s room. Tiff, Sam, Mason, and I all …show more content…
We went to this place that had fluffy pancakes and they we're delicious. We got out of there around 8:37am and headed off to the first adventure of the day. Ziplining. The drive was about 10 minutes and it was fun, the music was turned up and everyone was singing, the windows rolled down and it was a nice day outside so the wind wasn't too bad but it was the perfect amount. When we got there, we signed a contract and went up to the first zipline. We all got hooked into our “straddles” and Mason was hooked on first, then Tiff, then me. When it got to my turn, I went down and the wind was perfect and it was dancing with my hair. The view was charming, the hills, the sky, the clouds, over-all it was lovely. After finishing with the ziplining we walked down to the beach and had a blast. For a good amount of time we just sat in the sand, but other times we were in the
As soon as they picked me up, we headed right to Hershey. On the way, we talked about the rides and what we were going to do. We were arguing about what was going to be our first ride that day. It took about half an hour, but we made
3 days before the cruise. Today was the day we drove halfway to Texas I was excited so we packed our thing said bye to is dogs, dove away well I thought that's was all but sadly that's not the truth. Halfway through we reached this forest that was like 3 hours long and rained every single second of
I was in the car with my best friend Hannah with her sitting passenger and I was in the driver’s seat. We were talking and laughing, having a great time without a care in the world. My stereo was on and playing was my favorite CD: Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots. We were on our way to a friend’s house and couldn’t wait to get there. The traffic started to slow us down but we didn’t let that damper our mood.
We eventually make it to the beach and it was beautiful out! The first step onto the sand burns our feet and we all race to the water. The wind floats through our hair and the water splashes on our feet. Everybody sets up their chairs and plops down to just relax and look at the stunning ocean, when it starts raining cats and dogs.
The next day we had pancakes that the hotel gives for breakfast. That was the best food I have had since the vacation has started. My family and I went to the beach right after that. The water was still cold, so I had to play with the sand. Instead of building a sand castle, I built a set of tunnel and stuff underground. Then, my little brother came and jumped on the tunnels and all of it fell down.
It was a cool, June morning, I had my bags packed and ready to go, and just like that I was on the road to Niagara Falls! We started by getting up at five O'clock in the morning.I remember waking up to the smell of french toast, bacon, and eggs. We packed our bags in the truck, then hit the road!
The car ride was always the longest but we all knew it was worth it. We arrived at the campsite ready to finally get out of the small compacted car. We unpacked everything and still had time to go hangout around the campsite before the sun went down so my brother and I went fishing while my sister and mom went down to the playground. When we got back the second family had arrived.
Gone Fishing. It was an exciting day for me, and I didn’t even know what was going to happen. My grandpa came to my house and then he told my brother Luke and I that he was going to take us on a fishing trip to Canada with his friend. We were so excited when he told us I told Grandpa, “This will be the best summer vacation ever!” After he told us we went and got gear like fishing poles, rain suits and food.
Today was my sister's birthday! We went to Animal Kingdom, Which had a really fun ride called The Legend Of The Forbidden Mountain, where you go up the coaster normally and drop backwards. I screamed really loud! After a while, we got lunch. We went to a restaurant in the park, where I had the best grilled cheese of my life. We spent a few more hours at the park and left at dinner time. That night, we had dinner at a really nice restaurant. I got steak and mashed potatoes and we left after eating for about an hour and went back to our resort. When we got back we went to our cousin's room and watched
We were going to the Bahamas because the Ole Miss basketball team had a tournament there. My dad and I woke up at 2:00 in the morning heading to Memphis. My mom and sister were already there so we had to pick them up first. We picked up my mom and sister and headed to the airport. When we got to the airport, we had to board the plane and took off. We landed in Atlanta and got some ice cream. Soon after, we got on another plane for the Bahamas! When we landed in the Bahamas, we had a 30 minute drive to our hotel, but it was worth it. After arriving at the hotel the, we put our bags up and started to walk around. That night the entire group ate dinner in a small conference room. I sat with the players, talked, and had fun.
In Saint Anselm’s Proslogion, Saint Anselm discusses his ideas and beliefs about God’s existence. In the opening chapter, Anselm defines what it means to contemplate God. In order to contemplate God we must want to unburden ourselves and allow God to be a part of our life. Once one can find faith in God, they can begin to start questioning God’s nature and his existence. Anselm’s purpose for writing The Proslogion was to inform God’s followers of his existence through reasoning, discussing contradictions, and re-evaluating our interpretations of scripture.
glory days. i look back at old pictures of me and ask myself what happened to that girl. the girl who was always laughing and was always so happy. the girl who did not know that war wasn't just a card game, and race issues weren't just about who ran the farthest, when getting high meant a swing on the playground and my dads shoulders were the safest place on earth, the worst pain you would ever feel was when u skinned your knees on the sidewalk, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow, and i thought growing up would be fun. i cant remember the last time i was as happy as i was when i was five years old and chasing butterflies in my front lawn in the house i grew up in . when me and my sister would take baths together and my mom would braid my
It was one of those lovely spring days in May. With all those spring mornings that would be coming his way Michael would bear witness to many of them. But there was a reason why he specifically chose this day, for he hid away a memory in his subconscious. Saturday.....yes, it was a Saturday. His mother would not have asked him for his help unless it had been a Saturday. Michael had been coming up the stairs when she summoned him.
The children played tag and ran across the building to find out the manager was looking at them suspiciously. The parents yelled, “Hey, get back in YOUR SEATS!,” startling the 2 boys they wandered back. The food has arrived and they quickly grabbed the fork and chomped on the food as fast as they can, so the boys could get to the fortune cookies. At the end of the lunch the waiter gave the parents the bill and some fortune cookies as a little desert or a thanks for coming gift. Kyle opened the cookie, looked at it, and graciously wondered to himself.
