Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Bahamas

“ I have a surprise for you,”he said. My dad had called me down to his bedroom. “We are going to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas!” I was so excited. My sister and I were jumping up and down. Even though we had already been once before we were excited to go again. I could not wait for our trip. I know it is going to be good.
We were going to the Bahamas because the Ole Miss basketball team had a tournament there. My dad and I woke up at 2:00 in the morning heading to Memphis. My mom and sister were already there so we had to pick them up first. We picked up my mom and sister and headed to the airport. When we got to the airport, we had to board the plane and took off. We landed in Atlanta and got some ice cream. Soon after, we got on another plane for the Bahamas! When we landed in the Bahamas, we had a 30 minute drive to our hotel, but it was worth it. After arriving at the hotel the, we put our bags up and started to walk around. That night the entire group ate dinner in a small conference room. I sat with the players, talked, and had fun.

It was a pretty day and it did not take long to get to the island. Once we arrived, there was a quick lesson by the captain. We snorkeled, had lunch and returned to Atlantis. Everyone was tired from the day and decided to turn in for the night. The next day was the second game for Ole Miss. They won 74 to 43. I love to win but I felt kind of bad for the teams we had to play. The last day in Atlantis my Mom and sister went to get souvenirs before we headed to the airport. The flights back home did not go as well as the flights to the Bahamas. We had long lines in customs, layovers, delays, and had to get off the flight because we didn’t have a pilot. We did not arrive in Memphis until 3:00 A.M.everyone was very tired and ready to get
