For the past twelve years, my world consisted of Ridgway, the place that taught me countless lessons and made me who I am today. Without this school, these teacher and classmates I wouldn’t have been able to achieve all of my accomplishments. It is because of this I demonstrate great Elker Pride. I have participated in several spirit weeks. I have supported the Elker teams, overdressed in maroon and white, cheering them on, win or lose. However, that is not how I perceive Elker Pride. I believe true Elker Pride is much more than that, it is representing Ridgway proudly through leadership and participation in the community. As seniors we are looked up to by descending grades, with this comes leadership. I am not only Secretary of Student
