According to George Saville, English statement and author, “Education is what Remains When We Have Forgotten all That We Have Been Taught.” In 1932 education in Saudi Arabia was limited to the rich class; however, in the recent years the opportunity of having education becomes available to most citizens. Educations plays important role to develop countries in both fields economy and technology. All the developing countries share the same education system which put them behind all the developed countries. Countries with a great education have the ability to take the highest positions in the world. Therefore, education has positive impact on people lives to create, solve problems, create, and many other aspects. Education in Saudi Arabia has changed dramatically in the recent years; even though, Saudi Arabia is still behind all developed countries because they have many weaknesses in their education system, and there is some advice to solve these weaknesses in education method to evolve education.
At the beginning, women are important members in societies. Women are responsible to bring a next generation; therefore, women s’ education has a significant effect on whole communities. When women have the strong skills from education, they will educate their children and benefit their societies. Starting with the first weakness in education system in Saudi Arabia, women education is too limited. For instance, education system prevents the women from any physical activates. In conclusion, education in Saudi Arabia has many weakness methods. Education system to educate the women is inadequate. Also, methods are too limited to meet the demand, and teachers lack the skills to be a good teacher. However, there are some advice to solve these weaknesses in education by expanding the women s’ education, and by preparing the student to study Math, Science, and technology to have the skills that labor work requires. Also, by training teachers to have the right skills which affect their students positively is very significant effect on student s’ education.
The role of women in learning and education underwent a gradual change in the Afro-Eurasian world and the Americas between the 11th and 15th centuries. As societies in Africa, Middle East, India, China, Europe, and America grew more complex they created new rights and new restrictions for women. In all regions of the world but the Middle East, society allowed women to maintain education in order to support themselves and their occupations. Women slaves in the Middle East were, however, prized on their intelligence. In Africa, women were trained in culinary arts. In India, women learned how to read and write with the exception of the sacred verses of the Vedas.
The place of women in Saudi society is determined by a deeply conservative culture, vindicated by a narrow interpretation of religion, and enforced by law. That place it would appear is at home, subservient to and legally dependant on their male guardian. Saudi society suffers from pervasive segregation along gender lines and women's freedom of movement is impeded, forcing them to rely on male chaperons.
As time allowed more men and more women to be schooled together, it was evident that a woman's presence alone would not ensure an equally beneficial education. The school systems continue to follow a gendered curriculum, created mainly by men in order to serve men. It is the reinforcement of the gender biases and assumptions through their methodical distribution and teaching of stereotypes and ideas that put the education of men and women on two separate levels. There is no example to follow when it comes to the equal education of children because even though they receive the same education, it is far from equal. It is this along with the lack of recognition towards women who have achieved greatness both in and out of education that creates an outsider status for the female student (Lasser, 1987).
For many years women in America have experienced many different situations in the education arena. Situations that women experienced were very different than the experiences males experienced in the same classroom and women expectations were also different than that of their male counterparts. Renzetti and Curran wrote in their Fifth Edition of Women, Men and Society that women were expected to not only attend to their studies but also attend to the males’ laundry, cleaning their rooms and meal service. (Page 101.) Women were expected to keep silent and were only allowed to major in degrees like Home Economics and Teaching degrees. Was this treatment of women the same for women in other cultures? This paper will show that women in America fare far better than in other countries in their ventures in education. The countries that will be explored are the United Kingdom, Brazil, Africa, and China.

Progress and gender diversity varies significantly from country to country and tends to reflect how women are viewed in a region’s society. The gender gap index, which examines “the gap between men & women based on economic, political, education & health criteria”, is an effective measure to benchmark the national gender gap of each country. According to the Global Gender Gap report 2013 by the World Economic forum, the gap exists the most in Arab countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and many other countries. The Women of the Middle East have played substantial roles for their corresponding countries since the advent of colonialism in the region. Middle Eastern women have worked in all types of fields including medicine, education, agriculture, government, private sector, and even defense. They have kept roofs over their family’s heads while their husbands were away in wars, or even in foreign countries to work in jobs that they could not find in their own countries. The roles of women in the countries of Yemen and Oman are no exception, but while they still find ways to contribute to their country, they care constantly stereotyped, discriminated, and ridiculed by men who are known and unknown to them. The Arab world is traditionally and originally a male-dominated culture, where male authority is the norm throughout most Arab countries. Subsequently, even with the introduction of Islam and the acknowledgement of women’s rights coming about in the early 20th century, as will later be described, there still remain those traditional components that affect male-female interactions and relationships in Arab societies. Gender and gender inequality are present in Arab societies still today and are at the forefront of Arab societies. Aspects of gender inequality, for the most part, appear with respect to those of employment and education opportunities, political rights, and justices in marriage. As a starting point, one can stress that there is a general view, on a large global scale that Arab society is one where gender issues and gender relations exist despite the recent protests/riots.

The only solution that I can think of is that each and every teacher must work at putting positive ideas and positive feelings into each and every child. It is a hard task, especially living in today's world, but if teachers can show children that there is a bright future waiting for them they will work towards getting there.
