If you ask yourself the questions like Who am I, and what is the purpose of my life persistently, then it is an indication that time has come to head start your spiritual journey, and you have ripened enough emotionally and spiritually to partake this path. Whether you are going to make it till the end is not really important, the most significant point is your choice of treading this pathway. You may have to overcome many hurdles in this lane, but once the choice is made then there is no going back, and interestingly, you are not going to lose anything, it is a win -win situation both ways. Moreover it is always a better option to move forward in right direction rather than wasting your whole life and realizing at the “dawn of your life”, that you have taken a wrong path, and repenting it incessantly.
The foremost advantage of taking the spiritual journey is that it is an activity that connects us with God, and with our true self, which can lead to personal transformation.
Following a spiritual path and taking pleasure in this practice will give us many benefits e.g. inner peace, clarity on life’s purpose and emotional balance. It also provides an ability to see things in the right perspective.
Once you are on this path, you are sure to lose nothing as nothing is lost in spirituality, and which ever is your enhanced stage in this present life, you do not have to start afresh in next life, you will be automatically upgraded and continuing further from that stage, by the grace of GOD as logically speaking, our soul, which is a fractional part of the Universal Soul is incomplete, and that’s why it always yearns to be one with HIM, to get completed. To enhance spiritually, one need to seek the help of GURU. He is the one who can gauge our intrinsic nature and can lead us from the path of darkness (ignorance) to enlightenment (knowledge). Be careful, no one can lie to GURU as He can see through us like an X-ray machine. How much we want to shield our sinful acts, Guru adjudicate our ‘Aura’, (chakras), which gives away our true nature.
However, it is impossible to separate chakras from auras, as chakras help to form auras, they are interchangeable. They are like the barometer of one’s true nature; and they represent mental, physical and spiritual health of an individual.
Auras, (chakras) are the electromagnetic field or the Bio-Energetic Field.
Today’s world is filled with technology and this technology, while helpful, has its downfalls. One of the major downfalls of technology is its overbearing presence. In order to develop a full plan for spiritual transition, we must include a time of solace that removes the distractions of technology and life from the picture. One we have a clear head, we can move forward towards deepening our spiritual life.
Let us not confuse or conflate the spiritual with the physical: they are inseparable, but they are not interchangeable. Do not allow wishful thinking to lead to delusions. To grasp the idea of prosperity and self-worth
Spirituality and religion are two things that embody each other in many ways. These tenets have been around since the beginning of man. The practice of spirituality or religion takes place in almost everyone’s life at one time or another. Pope Francis at Apostolic Palace 00120, Vatican City, is the top religious leader of the day. Dalai Lama of Thekchen Complex, Teapc Road, P. O. Mcleadgani, Hemachal Pradesh, India, is the top spiritual leader. People need spirituality and religion in their lives for structure, enlightenment, joy, and happiness. These faiths are sometimes mistaken for the same thing, but spirituality and religion have very different meanings. Spirituality is the best way to practice a faith based way of life.
For majority of life I’ve gone through the motions and have done as I have been told to do. Naïve and ignorant to how amazing life really is and refusing to question how things work or what my true purpose is other then surviving. For centuries there have been numerous philosophers to question what our purpose is and have developed different theories to help us get as close as we possibly can to finding the meaning of life. One thing I’ve learned since opening my eyes to the reality of the world is that in our lifetime the closest thing we will have is theories and ideas but we will never know the true meaning of life.
Spiritual formation is a process that morphs as we grow and change. There is no one singular correct path this type of journey takes because each journey is as individual as the person who is experiencing it. Most obvious, the journey will be different from those who identify as religious and those who do not and will diversify with in each category. For example, the spiritual journey a Buddhist takes will be different from that of a believer in Judaism or Christianity. In fact, the journey will continue to diversify between Christians, male and female, age groups, even by demographic location. Consequently, the spiritual formation process is as diverse as it is intricate and we may never be able to discover all the journey options. Although individuals may not actively recognize they are experiencing spiritual formation it is a process that affects all. Because it is in human nature to question, learn, grow, and act, everyone to a certain extent is exposed to a unique spiritual formation journey.
Do you ever find yourself feeling off balance or just out of sync with everything around you? These feelings could be signs of unbalanced Chakras. I am sure you are wondering what are Chakras and why do they affect your life so much. Chakras are also known as the central energy centers in your body. Each energy center is responsible for specific functions your body does and emotions you feel. When out of balance your physical and emotional health can decline. If this happens it is not too late to fix it and there are many ways to do it.
The word Chakra is an ancient term referring to the spinning vortexes of our body’s natural energy system. The word chakra actually means ‘wheel’ in Sanskrit. Visually, the chakra resembles a cone which is pointing towards the body. The energy from a chakra is being radiated through an expanding spiral. There are seven primary chakras and hundreds, if not thousands, of smaller ones, each linked to a specific part of the human body. The chakras work as conductors of energy and each one has a unique frequency. The base chakra has the lowest frequency and the crown chakra has the highest frequency. When all seven primary chakras are balanced (i.e. open and spinning), energy flows freely through the body and helps us to function on a physical, emotional and mental level. The balancing of the blocked and unblocked Chakra energy flow can be beneficial to one’s health.
This spiritual journey begins when I came of age, the beginning of 9th grade, and I never realized how much it changes life. My heart pounded at the thought of becoming an adult in the Catholic community. Increased spiritual life, better faith in God and his plan for us, and a chance to do more good for people, all
The Spiritual Disciplines: Door to Liberation Spiritual Discipline has become an affirmed necessity to who we are and what we should model to those around us. We are called to move from the shallow end of the pool to the deep end so we may “explore the inner caverns of the spiritual realm,” as Foster shared in Celebration of Discipline (Foster 1). Once we overcome our fears, like learning how to swim, jumping into the deep end becomes easier. Allowing ourselves to jump straight into the deep end is similar to obeying God’s call to deeper and fuller living. Disciplines were made so we may be liberated from everything that weighs us down and we begin to dance, shout and be joyful in our spiritual life.
First, the Right View, which is knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. An in depth understand of the Noble Truths is not required, but putting confidence in the Four Noble Truths is important. As well, adopting the lifestyle that was taught by Buddha is essential. This includes recognizing the Buddhist definition of dharma where the teachings of Buddha in the Pali Canon are held as truth, all must be treated equally regardless of social status, and laws such as karma explain how reality functions. The second step is that of Right Resolve, to take on the proper mindset suitable for someone trying to attain enlightenment. This requires letting go of cravings such as sensual desires, hatred, greed, etc. Moreover, it involves adopting positive attitudes such as respect for elders, caring attitude, and gentleness. It is important to distinguish between attaching yourself to others with goodwill, and expressing goodwill through your lifestyle. Attachment to another person with goodwill is considered a form of craving and will not lead to enlightenment however much of a good influence that person is. The Eight Fold Path is a personal journey and no assistance can help with reaching
It is not a question of self-improvement. What is being provided is a simple technique devoid of gurus, books and methods, a new kind of learning that permanently establishes us in the transcendent life for self-inquiry arises from that supreme intelligence which is the Self.
Through my past experience, I myself have changed to become happier after learning most of these skills at the spiritual center. In addition, in the course of my teaching, people have developed more positive outlook of life. Nevertheless, I have never delivered it as according to above mentioned. I assume it can be done, however, the results will require further study. I plan to propose this program to the non-profit organization for upcoming summer camp for young adults in Jakarta.
Have you ever wondered what true happiness is? Or what is living in a Promised Land like? Or just wondering how can a priest live a happy life if they are to give up on a lot of things? Or have you ever wondered of your purpose on life? On why we are all here on Earth? I believe, each and every one of us, is living in this world with a purpose. It may be a great or a simple one but we are all called by God to fulfill certain tasks. And as we fulfill whatever that task is, we should always be ready to face all sorts of challenges along the way.
Ganga and Kutty stated (2013) spirituality refers to a path of life that enables people to seek reason of their existence and helps people explore challenges. Ganga and Kutty (2013) conducted a study on adults to see if spirituality had positive effects on their life, meaning did their life have purpose or value. Each participant partook in a study that asked questions about their life and purpose. The study consisted of a daily spiritual experience scale, it was a point scale that consist of 16 items to be rated on a 6-point scale. The results concluded that spirituality has positive effects on their life when seeking their purpose. Each participant felt that he/she had a purpose and that their life was valuable and meaningful (Ganga and Kutty, 2013). According to Ganga and Kutty (2013), spirituality is a way for people to discover the meaning of their life. Spirituality is a personal adventure to understand answers to the questions they seek to find about their spirituality and purpose in life. It says spirituality is a set of beliefs and practices that concludes with life changing paths that make a person’s life meaningful. Spirituality has been viewed as an important factor when realizing the purpose of life. Ganga and Kutty (2013) expressed spirituality enhances our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, relieves stress and it finds meaning and purpose of one’s life. I believe
Over time, we self-inflicted ourselves with limitations that include desperation, unworthiness, all forms of complexes, fear, anxiety, perplexity and despair omnipotent to unleashing our full potential. These are mental conditions that can be overcome. With a little help and cognitive introspection, we can gradually pick on them, slowly minimising them to final eradication. In more situations than preferred, the inner self overwhelms us, totally destroying our dreams and desires to shreds in the process. We become our beliefs, our words, our behaviours, our conscience and eventually that character we tell ourselves we are. This can also be further tainted by the negative of what we don’t desire to be but continuously cognize and over-emphasise in our minds. The stronger we hold on to who we are can exaggerate the mountain we want to climb. It can feel insurmountable, a true Mount Kilimanjaro to hike but can also be reduced into a mole hill. How can we regenerate, develop skills to create and re-create ourselves in a continuous renewal mode that evolves and brings forth a dynamic self awakening lifestyle we long
