Absolute Worst Personality Traits Some people can draw a person in with a friendly smile and a simple hello. On the contrary, everyone knows the negative personality traits that most people try to stay away from. Yes, those that most may intentionally run away from. For example, three of the top negative personalities are of those that are dishonest, conceited, and sarcastic. Who really wants to be around someone with these types of flaws? The ones who try so hard but can never tell a good joke so they get frustrated and start picking on everyone around them and just don’t know when to shut up. Yes that’s the ones. Who could really want to invite that guy or girl out to a birthday dinner knowing before the end of the night someone is going to get upset and leave mad. Yea, that wouldn’t be such a good idea. Although the sarcastic type would probably be totally cool on the high school football team, this just isn’t the ideal description of who someone really wants to sit down and have a casual conversation with. The sarcastic type usually does nothing but hurt others feelings, which is just morally wrong. They want to look good in front of their peers, but behind closed doors there is someone crying their eyes out because they couldn’t take the bullying anymore. If only the sarcastic type could take a step back, pay attention to others, look at their expressions, and determine when enough is enough. In conclusion, nothing can be worse than being stuck around people with some of the worst personality types. For a lot of people the absolute worst personality traits are being dishonest, conceited, and sarcastic. Most people like to hide from others with these certain personality types. “Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for.” This quote from Johnny Depp is his most famous quote. Johnny is a very well respected Hollywood actor and has become wise over his years. This quote is full of truth and is really thought provoking. People that you know are dishonest are hard to trust to do something, but at least you know that they are not trustworthy. Someone that you believe is trustworthy may be a dishonest person and you do not know it. So you put your trust in them and they take advantage of your trust and betray you. That is not always the case, but sadly it does happen more than you would know.
To begin, the definition of pathological actually means abnormal or grossly atypical. Therefore, a pathological liar prevaricates more frequently than the average person or tells more abnormal lies. In most cases, pathological liars tell lies that are "unplanned and impulsive" (Hausman). These lies are usually very emotional stories that tend to serve no purpose except to impress people (Ford 133). As of now, psychiatrists are unsure whether or not pathological liars are fully capable of realizing if and when they are lying, so detecting whether or not a person is a pathological liar is a very difficult task (Hausman).
Lying doesn’t only hurt the relationship, but it mostly hurts the person who is being lied to, emotionally.
These different traits of personality have an impact on each individuals’ lives and also how they behave. For instance, according to the text, “The neurotic person might be anxious a lot, but this might protect her from being a knucklehead who chases tornadoes.” (Twenge & Campbell, 2016) Each trait can have a negative effect or a positive effect. Personality can be shaped by genetics and the environment.
Personalities differ greatly from one person to another and there are many theorists with different theories of why people act the way they do. The first few stages of a person’s shape their entire personality and how they are going to be for the rest of their life and that is very important. The development of a person has to do with who their parents are, how they are rasied, their environment, etc. and that is very crucial. Every person acts the way they do for a certain reason and that it showed by many theories throughout time.
An emerging trend among today’s employers is the increased focus on the personality traits of their employees. Whether that focus is on the ability to hire the right person by predicting job performance, or discovering the right “fit” for an employee in a team, a company’s success may depend on these factors. Creating the right team based for the best success of the team is crucial. However, due to project constraints, abilities, market place, etc, the ability to pair the right individuals may not be available.
An extrovert may want to go out more often, much to the introvert’s dismay. Flipping the coin, the extrovert will be annoyed at the introvert’s lack of activity in the social world. Another example would be those who perceive and those who justify working together to accomplish a goal, instead of justifiers being annoyed at the perceivers for wanting to move on to project after project without accomplishing anything. Some listings are not as simple as those two, as now we get into pairs of letters. Let’s start with my pairing, “NF”. NF loves to inspire people to work, and would be ideal motivators. It helps them to help others, in other words. There are even more complex synergies or aversions, such as 16 Personalities’ archetypes going against or for each other and 16 Types’ personality types. In the real world, the lines are blurred, and that is where the percentages come into play, for example, if the world was either too borderline or too extreme all the time, nothing would get done. There should be a balance between each temperament for society to work, as it is a collaboration of each fostered personality type percentage. Otherwise it just would not work. A way to think about a personality disorder is to think about someone who is complex because personality disorders are not a simple health concern. There is so much involved with these disorders. A person’s life can revolve around a personality disorder due to the fact that it is a mental issue. (Mayo Clinic, 2014). There is a stigma around the idea of mental disorder. People assume that a person with any type of mental disorder is dangerous or harmful. It will always be this way until the media changes how they portray mental disorders. (Arboleda, and Stuart, 2012) Did you know that in the overall population personality disorders affect more than 10% of people? (Lariviere, Desrosieres, Tousignant, and Boyer, 2010). Because this can happen to anyone, personality disorders need more awareness about what it is.
Type A Personality or Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) include typical responses of competitiveness, time urgency, and hostility. Type A’s normally strive towards a goal without feeling a sense of joy in their efforts or accomplishments. They also seem to be in a constant struggle against the clock and become impatient with any delays and unproductive time. Type A’s also tend to see the worse in others and display anger, envy and lack of compassion (McLeod, 2017).
Liars have rumors spread around about how they lie all the time. Nobody wants to talk to them because they won't know if they are lying to them or not. They aren't trusted as much as people who don't lie. Liars never get very far in life and always have a reputation of lying. It's much better to tell the truth and have friends who trust them, rather than lying and having rumors spread around making no one like them.
I am always getting to class on time and quite in the class. I do not use phone in class neither talk with friends while the teacher is teaching. I always take a long time to do activities and get hard time to make a decision.

The assessment contained 3 areas of focus, individual evaluation of self, working with others, and life in organizations. The purpose of this paper is to provide a clear definition of my personality traits and how they affect me personally and how this knowledge can benefit me professionally. The defining of my personality traits in this paper is done through the observation and study of the Meyers-Briggs / Jung Typology Test.
