Some of the tasks I am engaging in my workplace for my internship are: making phone calls to some of the 400 small group leaders, logging people’s information in the computer data system, helping to write the weekly curriculum for the study groups, as well as leading a college small group myself. In emergency management I would like to lead groups to other countries where disasters strike. My desire is to work with an organization like the Red Cross, FEMA, or another international relief organization. My small-groups internship is helping me to improve my leadership abilities and giving me opportunities to become comfortable with both small groups and large groups of people and with public speaking. Although there is much I can still improve on, and I realize that I still have a lot of skills still to develop, I am seeing that all my training is equipping me for work in my desired
