Out of all the colleges I have researched, Chadron State, the University of Nebraska in Omaha, and Stanford University are my top three. Out of these three options, UNO is my safe school. I used to go to UNO for show choir competitions and, from what I saw, I love the campus. I also like how it is not too far away from home, but not close enough for my parents to come and spend every weekend with me. With that being said, there is a downfall to UNO. My dad went to college in Omaha and said that it wasn’t the safest place to go to college. I wouldn’t want my parents to worry every day about whether I’m safe or not. Stanford University is my dream school. Unfortunately, Stanford is located in California, which might be too far for me. I might not have the opportunity, or money, to travel to and from California to Beatrice on special occasions. …show more content…
If I decide I don’t want to go into that major, I’d have to transfer to a school that offers the major I would want, and I don’t intend to transfer colleges. There are, however, many great aspects about Stanford. Like how their student to faculty ratio is 4:1. I would having the opportunity to have smaller classes so the teacher could actually know my name and be able to recognize me when I go in for help. I would also like how competitive it is. Stanford could provide me with a challenge, and I always love a good challenge. The most realistic college for me is Chadron State. I like how Chadron offers a wide variety of majors so if I decide to not be a teacher, there are other options I would be interested in. Chadron also gives students the opportunity to study abroad. Studying abroad had been something I have looked into since last year. I think that it would be an amazing experience to travel to another country while still studying for your

Also, I want to go because when I attended the school during a shadow day I felt that I belonged there and that my personality fit right into what the school expects and wants in its students. Finally, I want to go to Brophy because I do not think that there is another high school in Arizona that is quite like it, from the school’s athletics to its academics and staff. I always wanted to attend to an important college. To me, that meant that the smartest people has to be there and one that had good reputation. After research and research I understood that my life have changed since I got to the United States. As an international student my opportunities were less, since I do not qualify for financial aid. My choices were less, but i realized that that does not stop me in going to college and prepare myself to be someone in life. I do not need to be at the most important college to prove myself how worth it I am. A two-year community college would let me prepare myself for much less cost and with great opportunities. Glendale Community College a small college would be the best place for me as a student. It is a place where I can get more attention for the teachers and I could pursue my career in medicine.
A challenge that all seniors face at the end of their high school career is the decision that will shape the rest of their future. Will it be Harvard, Ivy Tech, or a job at the nearest fast food joint? Of course, there is nothing wrong with not going to college, but for the people of society who plan to marry and have at least three children, it is almost essential. After making this decision, the seniors who choose to attend college must then decide which one. Campus size, housing, nearby activities, and available degrees and study programs are all important traits to consider when searching for the perfect college.

I have been tirelessly searching for the best university for me for a while now. One with superb facilities, and a beautiful campus. One that offers me top education, a conducive environment for learning, and a memorable experience. A university that helps me develop both spiritually and intellectually. A university that allows me to find myself, not just in the classroom, but also outside the classroom.
Cal Poly Pomona is best known for their engineering and their business. Cal Poly Pomona is also a very affordable school for me and it is very close to home. Another pro about the college is that it has a beautiful campus, horses, gardens, ponds, hikes, hills, vistas and many other geographical things. When you may be stressed or you are just sad you can go out for a while and take a hike or maybe just look at the nature there. Personally for me, I love nature because it makes my stress go away. Some of the cons of this college is the neighborhood. It is in a quiet part of town and close to Diamond Bar and Walnut, but the school needs more commercial activity immediately across and walking distance to campus. You currently have to drive to do anything. You cannot walk or else you get really tired .Looking at this college and how it is advertised my point of view of this college is that the cons don’t really matter because we can easily
Going to college is something that has been drilled into my brain by the public education system since I was in first grade. They obviously did a phenomenal job because here I am, a high school senior, applying to various colleges and universities trying to find the right fit. There are many reasons why I want to go to college, but there is one reason above all others, and that is that I want to be able to share my passion of music with others in hopes of sparking a similar passion inside of them.
“A good education is a foundation for a better future.” ~ Elizabeth Warren. The reasoning behind why I want to go to college is to better my future. I am considered one of the first generation in my family to go to college, putting a lot of meaning behind why I believe I should go on to a different path. From a very young age I have always held high expectations of myself, even of the numerous changes in careers I had obtained an interest in. I have always envisioned myself going to college because I certainly value education. I believe that the more education I receive, the more valuable I am to this generation of the work force. Not only does my passion of learning hold place in the reasoning behind why I want to go to college, but because of my role models growing up. My parents both encourage me on a daily basis to go to college, and have encouraged my initiative to seek more in life. My father once explained that he once had this opportunity to receive a free ride to college but decided to stay home and start a family. He of course never looked back or regretted his decision because if not I wouldn 't be here today, but he encouraged me to take on these amazing offers and
The credit that I would fulfill doing this abroad program, an advanced Western Tradition, fits perfectly in my schedule and will help me be one step closer to my early graduation. Most obviously, studying abroad will also benefit my education by giving me a wider-range of knowledge. I will get the chance to talk to numerous people of different backgrounds, hearing what they have done in their life and how they got where they are.
Los Angeles is my goal place to be when I graduate from high school. The weather, the amount of people in the city, the diversity of culture and types of people, the numerous amount of different opportunities, the famous landmarks, beaches, and so much more intrigue me. I chose the University of Southern California for my college research project. USC is located in Los Angeles and their campus looks really lovely which is a reason as to why I would like to possibly go to that university. Many people shoot for UCLA, it is one my list of colleges to go to, but not my first because many people strive to go there and I don’t usually like going somewhere where many people usually choose to go. There are many different programs, activities, and clubs you can join and participate in and I absolutely love communicating with new people and try new activities.
Choosing a college is a huge milestone in life. The college you chose (If you choose to go to college) should fit your interest. Furthermore, the college should be a good fit for you, financially, socially, and academically. The college I plan on going to is AMDA. AMDA stands for American Music and Dramatic Academy. This, hence the name, is a performing arts conservatory located in New York. I believe I would highly benefit from this academically, financially, and socially.
Why am I really in college? I believe this is a question that a majority of students ask themselves on a daily basis. College can be a whirlwind of stress and deadlines, but all college students put themselves through this hectic adventure for one reason: a career. In today’s society a college degree is most often than not required to find a stable job, which is what an abundance of college students are seeking. In order to get the career we are dreaming of, we have to put ourselves through college and acquire the knowledge we need to succeed in our career path.
After high school, I plan to go to college at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. I would like to major in Architecture or Engineering. I plan to go to Iowa State because they have great architecture and engineering programs and because it is close to home. One of my goals for college is to graduate in four years with my Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering depending on what career I decided to pursue. Another goal for when I am in college is to obtain a GPA of 3.5 or above.
I don't want to nb attend Stanford. I want to look at colleges in different states and different countries. I've always been fascinated by european culture and I've actually worked on looking at colleges in/ near Italy. I like exploring new places, meeting different people, and learning new languages which is why I'm interested in universities/colleges outside of the United States. Having the opportunity
There are many reasons why I want to take classes through Boston University this summer. I want to take classes so that I can better know whether Boston University is the right place for me to attend college, to help me me continue to practice my Chinese over the summer, and to help me discern the right choice of college major.
