What makes me a positive role model for the incoming freshmen is that I enjoy having the ability of making a difference in the lives of younger students. I love passing on knowledge and helping others succeed. In addition to this, I would consider myself to be a very determined person, academic wise, I never settle for less and I always strive to be the best that i can be. Overall I am a person who commits to what I set my mind on.
In my life, my grandfather has always been my role model. He valued his beliefs and always abides by his values. My grandfather is a pastor. His leadership position in church gave him many responsibilities. I was never disappointed because he always tried to live an honest life. He was always trustworthy, reliable and responsible not just in church but also for his family. People followed his lead because he was always true to his words; he literally practiced what he preached. Credibility was the basic foundation for my grandfather’s leadership position. His credibleness has helped the church stay
Mary Mackillop was a great role model for students and people and some of her achievements through her later life include:
It is the job of a leader to be a role model because people look up to you. Leadership is something I may have to work on a little because I am a shy person, but that doesn’t stop me. Last year, some 6th grade student were going to be selected to give a tour of the school to the 5th graders who were coming to Great Hollow the following year. My teacher was unsure that I would be a good choice because I am quiet in class. But I convinced him to let me be a tour guide and he was impressed with my performance. I was excited and talked to the students about the school and I was happy to be a leader and show the 5th graders what to do. I proved to myself I had
Both inside and outside of school, I make it a personal commitment to be a kind, helpful, and respectful role model to others, and I use those character traits to be a successful leader in my community. Kindness can be hard to come by in today’s age, so I pride myself in being a genuinely nice leader. A prime example of this would be my involvement with my dance school, the D’Arcy School of Irish Dance. While I have only been dancing for three years, I have taken the initiative to be a role model to the younger dancers. As being a Senior dancer, it is my responsibility to portray to other students the way one should act at dance class and performances. Instead of guiding others in a harsh and rather “bossy” manner, I instead choose to lead in a much more effective way. This would be

The National Honor Society helps students to become successful leaders in their communities by encouraging volunteer work and academic achievements. A successful leader guides others to become leaders as well. They show integrity, and always have a positive attitude to contribute to new ideas. The National Honor Society assists the community in any volunteer work such as the beach clean up, charity, and fundraisers. An NHS member especially motivates students around them to be academically inclined.
someone who deserves to be known as a good role model. Here are some reasons to
In addition to that, a positive role model in the workplace should always demonstrate an uncompromising integrity, good at working priorities, high energy, courageousness, being a committed and dedicated hard worker, being unorthodox and creative, being goal oriented, having inspired and contagious enthusiasm, staying level headed, and always having a desire to help others grow and
During the course of my college career I have discovered that it takes more than just completing assignments and attending classes to be a student worthy of the instruction one receives from a professor. It takes dedication, ethics, and a drive that comes from within to be a leader. One that others in the student population can look up to and model their academic career like; one that professors are pleased to have in their class. It has been my goal these years to be a student like this, and I have kept my drive towards this achievement action orientated at all times.
Lebron is a positive role model because of how he voices his opinions on social issues. Lebron feels a need to voice his opinions on social issues to show people it is not bad to speak your mind no matter if it is accepted or not. Such as when Lebron wore a “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirt during warmups (Scott). During the 2014 year a man named Eric Garner was choked to death by a police officer. LeBron being the kind of person responded not in words but in action. He along with other wore these T-Shirts to speak against police brutality. Another time Lebron made his opinions known was when he and other spoke out against the racial injustice that exists today (Grossman). He put on a speech on national television. It was not to berate anyone or group but was to inspire change in relations between people and law enforcement. He made it known that Black were target of this kind of crimes more than whites and brought that knowledge to the public stage. It was
If I were to leave a remarkable legacy, I would have definitely made a tremendous difference in people's lives. My family and teachers will be proud of all of the passing grades and good feedback from all of my teachers. However, I want to be remembered as a role model from all of my teachers and classmates. I want to be recognized as the student who was always hard working and brings sunshine into the classroom. This is a very big goal to accomplish but I will stride to the best of my ability this year. I want to leave honorable reputation
Demonstrates Positive Attitude/Behavior: An example would be my first grade teacher. She always presented herself respectfully. She set a good example for all of her students and it influenced them to do the same.
Many of us have role models in our lives and to most people role models are athletes and movie stars, but to me a role model is much more. To me a role model is a person who has positively influenced someone in life, and is not a person filled with selfishness and greed. They help shape someone’s personality, and characteristics. They are people who someone can look up to for advice in a hard situation, and know that they will give those words of wisdom. They will never judge our past actions, instead only look to help because they really care. A role model is someone who we should never feel awkward talking to about our problems. A perfect role model for me is my mother. She is a wonderful human being. She’s smart, wise, ambitious, patient and such a loving person. There are no words that can describe my gratitude towards her, but through this essay I will describe some of her characteristics that makes her my role model.
What if you had to answer the question, who is your biggest role model? Would you know the answer on the top of your head, or would you have to think about it? Everyone has their version of their perfect role model. The answer to these questions could be their best friend, family, or even someone as simple as a celebrity. For many people, it can be hard to decide who has had the biggest impact and their life and for what reasons. However, for me deciding my biggest role model is perfectly simple. My biggest role model is my father for many reasons, but the most primary reasons being his constant support, positive outlook on life, and his endless amount determination.
Whether it is for being nice to every body you come in contact with or always being willing to help others. Having a good reputation boosts your self esteem and causes more people to want to be friends with you. Honesty is part of this. My sister has always been a role model to me. In high school, she was very well known for her kindness to everyone, despite if they were popular or not. She was part of Pom and Dance Force, like I am now, and became popular very quickly. Everybody wanted to be like her. Not once was she rude to one of the less popular kids, or ignored them when they wanted to talk to her. She was honest about how she felt towards everyone, and was noticed for that rare trait. To this day, anyone from my school that even remotely knows her always talks about how kind and loving she was. I hope that I can be the same
