In October 2009, following the news of Nickelodeon purchasing all of Mirage's rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property, it was announced that Nickelodeon would produce a new film through Paramount Pictures with an expected release date sometime in 2012.[4] In late May 2011, it was announced that Paramount and Nickelodeon had brought Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Bradley Fuller and Andrew Form on to produce the next film that will reboot the film series. Bay, Fuller, and Form would produce alongside Walker and Mednick.[5] For the script, the studio originally hired Matt Holloway and Art Marcum to write the film for close to a million dollars. According to TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, the John Fusco version was a little too edgy for what Paramount wanted.[6] A year later the Studio turns to writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec to rewrite the script.[7][8] In February 2012, Jonathan Liebesman was brought in to negotiations to direct the film beating out Brett Ratner.[9] Later in March, it was announced that Paramount had pushed back film's release date to Christmas Day 2013.[10] In early March, 2012, Michael Bay revealed at Nickelodeon's 2012 upfront presentation that the film will be simply titled Ninja Turtles and that the turtles will be "from an alien race".[11][12] News of Bay's creative change was met with criticism from within the fan community.[13] In response to the announcement, actor Robbie Rist who voiced Michaelangelo the first three films, wrote to Bay accusing him of "sodomizing" the franchise. Rist later remarked that he could have been out of line since Bay makes more money than he does.[14] In response to the feedback, Bay issued a statement asking fans to calm down since a script had n... ... middle of paper ... ...led some of the things for the film stating that April would not be 16 years old like in the 2012 cartoon series, he feels Ken Watanabe would make a great Shredder, he would like to bring Reyes back as a Foot lieutenant, and martial arts wise they are looking at Fist of Legend and The Raid: Redemption.[23] Three days later, it was reported that production for this project has been shut down. While the release date has been pushed back five months, the work stoppage for the film was said to be "indefinite".[24] However, other sources said that the film would be released on May 16, 2014 due to problems in that script that need to be corrected.[25][26] In July 2012, Eastman called it "easily the best Turtle movie yet".[27] Kevin Eastman stated that the movie is creating its own story but has to be true to the source material or else they will get "fucking murdered".[28]
In the novel, Turtles All The Way Down by John Green there are two types of conflict: person vs. self, and person vs. person. Aza Holmes is the main character in the novel and she experiences conflict with herself everyday. She has high levels of anxiety and outbursts of overthinking which she calls a ‘thought spiral’. In the beginning of the book, Aza introduces her thought process. She hears her stomach making noise in the cafeteria and immediately thinks it’s “Clostridium difficile, which can be fatal” this line demonstrates how the slightest changes to her body send her down a never ending spiral of nerves (Green, p. 4). The thoughts alone aren’t what consume her daily life, ever since she was little she “pressed [her] right thumbnail into the finger pad of [her] middle finger, now there is this weird callus over [her] fingerprint” (Green, p. 5).
Turtle at the beginning of the book is just a young girl whose mother has died. When Taylor
When one looks at a reboot of a movie, it is essential to seek a balance of staying true to the old story, while giving it a breath of fresh thoughts. For the story Robocop, the stories being made thirty years apart, it would have a different audience in 2014 than it did in 1984. This audience would require different aspects from cinema, such as flashier effects, more intricate costumes, and a simpler plot. While these changes appeased the younger audiences of the age, the changes left the older crowd as well as the people with different tastes betrayed. Although the new movie had more grandiose and flashy effects and costumes, it lacked charm and had mediocre script writing.

The trailer teases the menacing and violent nature of the film, through the filming techniques which continue to create suspense and anticipation within a responder.
Walt Disney Studios is suing Professor Faden for infringing its copyright by using Disney clips in “A Fair(y) Use Tale.” Professor Faden claims he did not infringe Walt Disney Studios copyright. He took bits and pieces of Disney movies and made a video of all the clips that he used for fair use. Faden was using pieces of Walt Disney Studios movies for educational purposes, and never broke the copyright laws, therefore, it was noninfringing. The definition of fair use is a legal doctrine that portions of copyrighted materials may be used without permission of the copyright owner provided the use is fair and reasonable, does not substantially impair the value of the materials, and does not curtail the profits reasonably expected by the owner. He didn’t use a whole movie from Disney, just

This is one of Pixar’s earlier films, but still quite a fantastic piece of work. You may not think “monster movie” and immediately think of Monster’s Inc., but this

During my free time I enjoy watching movies. Netflix is one of my favorite programs to watch movies. They have many movies from all genres that interest me. Some of my favorite movies are based on true stories or are filled with lots of action scenes. However, I do have some memorable movies that seem not be forgotten because of great performances. Therefore I will analyze the films Invincible, Batman, and The Fast and the Furious. By implementing the terms protagonist, anti hero, and epic.
One movie that I personally feel should have a sequel is Avatar. Avatar is a science fiction, action, and adventure film. The story is about a paraplegic marine who joins a program called Avatar in place of his brother in order to interact with Na’vi people of Pandora (a fictional earth like moon). In the movie humans are trying to extract a mineral known as unobtanium which is vital to the survival of the Na’vi people. Jake decides to protect the Na’vi people at the end. In the next movie a continuation of this story with a cliff hanger ending would be ideal. I’m not a huge fan of Avatar, but financially it made over two billion dollars. Avatar also received positive feedback and many people are awaiting a sequel.
Dave Callaham is also joining the writing team as he has experience on films such as Godzilla and the Expendables films. Ruben Fleischer will direct the film, and he and the cast
