Study show that people who write down their goal are more successful than other who don't. Though just writing down goals won't do anything without you actually trying to achieve it. Like everyone, I have goals I want to achieve. I just don't have goals, I have SMART goals, long-term and short-terms. Having a smart goals make it easier for to achieve it through dedication, perseverance, and efforts.
First of all, SMART goal is a framework for setting goals. A SMART goal should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. Most students like me probably want to go to college after high school. The college I want to attend after finishing high school is UTD. I must meet their requirements if I want to attend their school. Some of the requirements I need to meet are being in the top 10 percent of my class, have the score of 26 or higher on ACT or a combined score for math and reading of 1270 or higher on my SAT, and have the basic credit for graduating high school. Though I have been playing soccer for two years, I could see that I have improve but it not that big of an improvement that I expected. Therefore, I’m training myself with the help of my coaches and my best friend to improve my endurance and speed. When I reach these goal it would be much easier for me to play the whole game and use the skills I have learn so far. My goal is to run for one hour and 30 min without getting that tried and run a mile under five minutes before winter break ends. The likelihood of me achieving that goal in just a few week is very low so I’ll keep a record of my progress throughout the weeks I train. For the first part, I’ll run for 30 minutes than 45 minutes than 60 minutes and so on. The second part of that goal, I’ll tried running a mile under 7 minutes than 6 until I have reach my
