Have you ever had goals that you wanted to complete during a specific amount of time? Well, this school year I have many goals to achieve before the school year ends. My three goals to achieve this school year are getting better at baseball, working on disciplining myself, and getting better at writing a proper essay. All three of these goals will help me later on in life whether it's in college or applying for a job.
One of my three goals is to get better at writing a proper essay. The reason I need to get better at writing an essay is because i will use it in my everyday life as I get older. We use essays later on in life like in college, and in jobs. But if you don't learn how to write a proper essay before you leave high school it

I need to be better at going to bed on time so I can have a fresh day for school. If I go to bed earlier I won't be tired in class therefore I can understand the material better. I also need to be better disciplined by managing my time so I don't get rushed and do my homework at the last second. By doing my homework when I get home from school, leads to not being rushed and I will get good grades. If I discipline myself by going to bed on time, and not putting off my homework until the last second. This will allow me to understand the material better and receive good grades.
My last goal to achieve durning this school year is to get better at baseball. I love playing the sport because I can play with my friends and I can be myself on the field. Baseball also makes me calm down and not be stressed about everyday life. The reason I want to get better at playing baseball is because I love the sport and I also want to play in college. My dream has always been to play in the majors and set my own legacy. But to achieve my goal I will have to spend more time hitting and fielding to improve so I can achieve my goal in getting better at
Technology, what is it? It’s usually something new, and better than the old idea. Technology started with cars, stoves, TV, radios, etc. Cars takes somebody from one place to another, faster than walking, running, or biking and one could go places without getting tired. Stoves allowed one to conveniently be able to turn on and off heat to a cooking utensil with less clean up. The biggest contributor to making our lives easier would be computers, which has come a long way since its introduction to the world. Also, computers have the ability to be improved more, and more in time. In general, technology started off by comforting our lives. Now, the rapid growth of technology has replaced the need for one’s own intellect.
My Senior year in High School has officially begun, only one more year at Corona High. I know that Senior year is supposed to be fun, but I believe every year is an opportunity to improve. I have already set my goals for this school year. I believe I can achieve a GPA of 4.0 or above. However, there are some personal goals that I need to complete first. I need to stop my terrible habit of procrastinating. Another goal of mine is to pass my AP tests so I can earn college credit. I also want to learn new things, so I started to learn the basics of Coding, now I need to finish this course. These are some things I look to accomplish this year.
My educational goals are important to me. My goals are to come out of English 100 and be able to write any kind of memo, document, or resume; because I know someday every one of these writing projects will become useful.
I’m a Freshman at Eaton Rapids High School, and I have a lot of goals for these next few years. First off, later this year I am running for class president. I have always wanted to give back and lead my class. Also, next year I want to join the football and baseball teams to get more fit. I have already started to train every day. Later in High school I also hope to get accepted into the National Honor Society.
Baseball has been a part of me since the earliest years of my life. Whether it was playing, watching, attending, or even coaching, baseball has, and always will be, my favorite sport and passion. Something about the game of baseball always made me want to come back and improve my skills. I loved the game, and because of my immense drive I had to improve, I ended up becoming quite good. Whether it was going to my scheduled hitting lessons with ex-minor leaguer Chris Delarwelle, attending baseball camps, or even practicing with teammates, I always felt a purpose to improve my skills. Due to the hard-work I put in, it led me to participate on travel teams, all-star programs, and was even fortunate enough to make varsity as an underclassman during my high school years.
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
As a highschool student we come up with many goals that we want to achieve each year. My three main goals for my junior year are to get good grades and maintain a good G.P.A. to stay active and play sports, and to start looking for colleges to apply for. Usually, it is hard to achieve all your own personal goals, especially if it involves working extra hard or doing other tedious activities.
This year, I have set the bar high for myself. I want to be a successful student so I can do well in high school. As I prepare, I have a few goals I want to reach academically, athletically, and religiously. I will do my best to not fail any quizzes or tests, win my volleyball league, and pray every day. I may not reach my goals, but if I work hard and try my best at all the goals I wish to reach, that will be success for me. I hope I can become a better student, volleyball player, Catholic, and most of all, a better person.
My goal is to receive only honor roll grades and participating in additional clubs and activities. When I achieve this goal by putting my mind to it, I can even see myself becoming one of the highest ranked students in my class. I am very proud of myself this semester and can say for myself that I have improved but there are some things I wish I did better. I should of worked just a little harder at getting my work done every night and instead of constantly getting distracted by the things around me, I should of focused only on study for my
A goal I achieved was when I graduated from high school many years ago. I was the first one in my family to graduate from high school. It was a big accomplishment for me and my mom. Graduating was my goal. I wanted to make my mom proud, life happens I couldn't go to college then but I told myself one day I will full field my dream to have a career. I meet my career advisor at a job fair and am here enrolled to be a medical assistant. My new goal is to work real hard to get the best grades I can possibly get and to have perfect attendance at the end off the medical assistant program. Am going use my time wisely, get all my work done in time and ask for help if I don't understand something.
A goal of mine is to get accepted in to National Honors Society. I will reach this goal by getting all my work done and studying a lot. Something the board of NHS looks at when you apply is if you have a number of volunteer hours. I hope to get at least 70 before my junior year. In order to get 70, I will use my free time to help teachers or students get jobs done. Another goal would be valedictorian. If I can work hard on every assignment and study for every test to reach at least a 4.0 GPA, I know I will be one of the valedictorians. One last goal would be receiving at least 3 varsity letters from the sports I play. I can get 3 by being a leader on these
Police Officers like myself need to understand that the law enforcement profession is a career that requires me to accept the fact that there is a need to always learn. The requirements of lawyers and doctors are mandated to keep up with the new laws as well as the medical technology, just as I have the need to maintain knowledgeable skills of all the changes in the law enforcement profession. New technology in the profession requires that there will always be continual training to build onto the already professional foundation. Maintaining my skill set, expertise, and safety awareness I must to seek out resources to advance my profession because the up to date training will allow practitioners the opportunity for quicker advancement (Valor, 2017). Developing sound Short-term goals (STG) is critical to managing my performance while working in the profession.
Setting goals is the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goal's you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and trouble finding a career that will provide for you. Without these three things, achieving your goals is going to be one of the toughest tasks in the years to come.
During my school life, I became interested in many different things, from school subjects like geography and science to extracurricular activities like student council and soccer. Although some say that “variety is the spice of life,” it has made it harder for me to decide on what I want to do in the future. Despite this difficulty, I have some simple short-term goals that will hopefully allow me to solidify my long-term aspirations. In the short-term, I hope to be attending a more rigorous college outside of Minnesota in order to gain a new life experience away from my home state.
My ambitions consist of pushing myself physically to become stronger through lifting, to make the varsity soccer team this upcoming year, and to strive academically to get into Colorado School of Mines. In order to reach these goals, everyday, I put effort and determination into
