Senior Project has been a long and stressful process but I have learned many things throughout the development of my project. I have realized the importance of hard work by doing the Senior Project. At the beginning I did not care if I was not able to turn in an assignment on time, but when my event did not go as I had planned, I realized that I needed to put more effort into my work. I was willing to work hard towards Senior Project but I was struggling with AP Chemistry so I gave chemistry more attention and then I fell behind on Senior Project. To be able to successfully complete Senior Project and graduate in June I put forth my best effort and was able to finish my research paper, product, and presentation on time. Along the way I also …show more content…
realized the importance of time management. I had a hard time between working on the Senior Project and at the same time focusing on other subjects. I started to manage my time more effectively by planning everything to make sure that I would be able to finish. My hard work paid off and I completed everything necessary to be eligible to present in March. Everything I have learned through the challenges I faced while doing the Senior Project will be very useful throughout my college studies and life. Hard work and time management are highly valued in any career. I completed the Senior Project to my best ability, but if I had to do something different I would chose a completely different topic.
I felt that doing my Senior Project on reality shows was too boring. Half way through the project I realized that my topic did not seem to interest me very much. Also, I had a very hard time coming up with a good idea for a product that would be connected to reality shows. But with the help of Mr. Daly we finally came up with an idea for an event. However, the event was not very successful. Only one person came to the event so I wasn’t able to obtain much data. As a result I had to change my product. It was very frustrating when I had to come up with a whole new product, but with the help of Mrs. DonVito, Ms. Doyle, and Mr. Daly I successfully completed my new product. So, if I had the chance, I would have created a different and better product at the beginning of my project and put more effort into planning it and making it successful. There are many things I wish I could have done differently but these were the biggest differences that would have resulted in a better Senior Project. I would advise the underclassmen to select a topic that they are really passionate about and not just pick a topic because it will be easy to research. Senior Project may seem like a long process because there are many components to the project that you need to complete over the course of several months but there are many learning opportunities associated with the project. Students are able to enhance their writing skills by writing an eight page research paper. In addition, students can have new experiences and exposure to the real

Senior Project Senior Project Outline Introduction: Let the reader know what this Essay is about. I. What I already know A.
Seniors, the last half of the year is hard, almost graduated, almost free from hours and hours of homework, but, don’t give up on your goals. Keep doing what you do best finish out strong. And fight for what you want and keep
In my first semester, I took English IV and dedicated all of my extra time to completing my graduation project. The project was a huge part of my grade for English, and if I did not meet the requirements for it, I would not have graduated. It was required that I write a research paper, create a product, record my progress in a portfolio, and present it all at the end of the semester. It was also required that I complete the project with a mentor. At the time, I was not sure what my career goals were, but I was interested in pediatrics and decided that it should be my topic in order to learn more about the
Conclusion Ultimately I did a much better job of implementing course material into my approach to leading the project team. Though no formal leadership role was established, I ended up becoming the “point-man.” Instead of viewing this reality as a burden (as I have been) I should make the most of the opportunity to better myself and potentially others. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, I need to make sure that I am meeting and exceeding the demands that the group places on itself and demonstrate that I am motivated.
As an upcoming senior you will think that your senior year will be stress less. But that not the case it will be filled with work on top of work. During my senior year I didn't think senioritis was real until I have to actually do work I didn't feel like doing . Once I got to the second quarter I was completely check out and ready to graduate. As a senior myself I didn't do some of my homework, I was getting low test scores, and not coming to school. Senioritis is real and after the first quarter you will feel like it's no purpose. So it's important to stay motivated and avoid laziness.
The project ended up not being particularly valuable for me in the sense that the change was never really able to become permanent. This is most likely directly because I did not strictly adhere to my change plan either by choice or by extenuating circumstance. The project has shown me that in order for a difficult change to be made it has to be an incredibly high priority. My change ended up not being as high on my priority list as studying for exams or going out with friends when I had limited time around exams which was ultimately the downfall of my change.
I loved the idea of the self-change project. I think healthy decisions and lives are essential for happiness. I am not sure if I let my everyday problems get in the way of if these were valid issues that I must deal with daily. The project was successful in the sense that I know I really need to look at what I do each day and figure out how I can work on myself in addition to those around me. I let people and situations take the wheel when it comes to me and my
It is amazing how students can come up with these ideas and develop such a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to such project. In my classroom, I would also incorporate a class project that would help the school and the community. I would have the students work on the project throughout the year, so I could help them with any extra ideas and see the actions they are taking towards the project. The final project would have to show a clear impact in the community by teaching the students about a safety, health, or educational issue that is common in either high school or in the community. Students will do their research to gather information, then they will use this information to implement an action plan; finally, they will take this action plan to inform students and the
I think the project that most impacted me as a learner was the memorial project. This projected made me grow as a learner because I had to work with someone that I had never worked with before. When we started just getting a topic that we both wanted to do was the first thing that made me realize that this project was going make me need to use and learn some new skills. My partner and I had some trouble with trying to come up with a design to show everything we wanted to show for our topic. We had to be patient with each other making sure the we both listing to each other and understanding what and why they wanted to do this. We also has some trouble with communication because we didn’t completely understand what the other wanted making ti hard to finalize our design. Another thing with communication was who was doing what my partner didn’t always know what to do so we would sometimes end up wasting time trying to find something for her to do that she wanted to do. Communicating was something that I really improved on for this project teaching me how to be more specific with what I say so that we don’t get confused later. Over all I think that this memorial project as the one that made me use more of the learner profile skills then any other and helped me improve one one as
My strongest writing skills were illustrated with the expression and analysis of the benefits and the drawbacks associated with the group project. While I was able to present the arguments and responses both verbally and in writing, there is additional work could use improvement. As English was not my first language, there were instances and moments where the
I have learned several valuable things from this project experience. First, it’s okay to not know how to do something right away. Ask, observe and experiment. Doing so will greatly enhance my ability to do it correctly and continue to learn. Second, I learned that this can be an experience in frustration if I always try to not make waves. Sometimes waves need to be made to better the project. And third, watch for similar frustrations with my students and intervene before it gets too serious.
Keep students on track through intermediate deadlines, progress reports, and helping students overcome obstacles that might derail
...rks. In a word, the MA experience was considered to be a bridge that combines the student learning with working skills, it would be of great help for my future career.
Throughout this term, my fellow classmates and I have had a chance to participate in a group project with two or three of our peers. The general topic was a vivid problem in a industry. Our class had a very wide and diverse sets of topics: from Styrofoam, to industrial hacking, to corruption in an influential international organization like FIFA, and so many more. Our group decided to develop a project named “Outsourcing and the price we pay for brands”. The name itselves is somewhat self-explanatory, however the problem is so much more complicated and interesting. In this paper, many struggles and concerns, of the group and of my my own, will be unfolded as I reflect the progress of this project.
The thought of community service was a bore to me before I began my volunteer work. I dreaded starting my community service although I knew I had to do it. Where I earned my hours did not even matter to me. I just wanted to get it over with. To my surprise it was not what I expected. Community service was not a painful experience; it was a very enjoyable and beneficial experience.
