Roles in the company are highly individualized; and individual contribution is an essential part of the company and its goals.
• Diverse cultures. U.S and China are having diverse cultures. The company has its employees from all over the world, and employees from diverse cultures think differently from each other.
• Time Spent Collaborating. Companies from both countries are having meetings more efficiently. Meetings are happening less frequent and taking fewer time. Too many meetings will lower employees’ productivity.
• Remote communications. Emails and phone calls are more popular and making face-to-face meeting less attractive. Developing business relationship over email or phone is a more natural thing nowadays.
• Personal Life vs. Professional Life. Both family and personal life are priorities in U.S. and China. Work-Life balance is a must.

Large animating companies such as Pixar may have fooled you into thinking animation is an easy art, but it is truly not. Animating is a painfully slow progress that constantly disappoints you with its extremely time consuming needs for a, once thought, easily accomplished scene in a movie you wanted. Creating animations may bestow life unto the ideas and characters living inside of your head, but it is all in exchange for your own sanity--especially when you animate alone. Animating by one’s self is absoluting dreadful, as it takes up an unmeasurable amount of time and steals an awful amount of one's soul.
Last but not least, I’m looking forward to the experiential learning in Washington, DC and Norwalk, CT, and the connection with global professional services firms and alumni network, which will be powerful and invaluable help for my future
