With students’ busy days of classes and homework and adults’ consumed days of work, it may be difficult to find time to exercise. That being said, even on these days, a little exercise is better than none at all. Working out and exercising is a way to relieve stress from everyday life, such as from work or school. Chemically, a person produces endorphins while they are physically active, helping reduce stress and improve sleep. Not only that, but exercising regularly can boost one’s body image—not only to himself or herself but to others as well—which can help improve confidence. Sticking to a steady diet, finding nearby resources for exercise, and setting mini goals over and over can promote a healthier way of living. One can meet new friends, find new hobbies, and improve his or her own lifestyle; if those activities become boring, a simple brainstorming session can swing him or her back on track to discover new activities. No matter what, it is an individual’s own motivation that must keep him or her going; no one else can do it for him or her.
