A lot of people can call me insane, but I love working out; I also love nutrition—most of the time, anyway. I realize I don’t naturally look like the typical fit, ripped, slim person; however, I don’t think fitness and health are all about the outer appearance. Of course, looking healthy is a major component in ones’ overall wellbeing, more so mentally, but being healthy and fit doubtlessly is also about the mind, the external body, and the internal body. Since I was a child, I have struggled with my weight. I went through my childhood being a quite chubby kid and intermittently teased for it. As I said previously, I love working out. Do I work out consistently every day? No, of course, I don’t. But I try to keep myself active as much as possible and put in several hours a week to keep myself healthy. I think working out actually causes plenty of positive effects in my life besides just my outer appearance. To me, exercising is sometimes a way of escaping. After having a long day, getting home, and breaking out a ridiculous sweat working out, can be one of the greatest feelings ever. Additionally, it makes me feel like I have actually accomplished something during the day, even when I haven’t. Not only that, it also helps with being upset because it takes my mind off of whatever I am unhappy about. It also is certainly a great way to deal with anger. Some people punch walls when they’re mad, I punch a punching bag. Besides just that, it also helps me sleep better at night. Just like reading a book before bed helps some people sleep, working out helps me. In conclusion, regardless of the fact I invariably am called a lunatic for enjoying working out, I simply love the feeling of accomplishing an intense workout and knowing I can continue to push myself to become stronger, to become faster, and to improve my health in as many
Exercise is very beneficial to everyone that wants to stay fit and to keep their health in good shape for the future. I know many people that work out just thirty minutes a day and eat healthy and they are in the greatest shape of their life. So during the times you feel fat and lazy and just do not want to get up off the couch. Think if you go to your nearest gym and workout for thirty minutes to an hour you will feel so much better with yourself, and have so much energy throughout your day.
Everyone experiences anger at some point in their life. We all have those topics that if it gets brought up we automatically go into our defense mood, whether it be sex, religion or politics . We all have had those skeletons in our closets that we don’t like to bring out. --When I participated in my fitness goal program, I found that my running improved immensely. In my first beep test, I got a score of 8.0. In the following beep tests, my results were steadily increasing. If you were to view my progress on a graph, you would see a consistent positive increase. On a grander scale beyond improvements in my beep test score, I also found improvements in the functioning of my cardio-pulmonary. This has resulted in great strides in my strengthening and conditioning endurance. Areas that I note require improvements are my muscular endurance and muscular strength. Over the last few years I have been looking for hobby’s that interest me. I’ve tried many different activity’s and I came across one that suited me well. After the birth of my first child, I had to learn to develop constructive ways to vent anger. One of those ways was to go off alone, count to ten, and think about what it was that made me angry. After I discovered the root of my anger, I often asked myself, "Will it do me or anyone else any good to be angry?", and, "Will being angry do anything to solve the problem", and the answer to both questions was usually no. By the time I had done the walking and thinking, I was usually not angry anymore.
