Murphy’s Law states that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. This is why you always need a plan in life to prevent an unforeseen challenge from getting in the way of your goals. In my self-wellness plan, I will discuss how I plan on taking care of not only my personal wellness, but also my academic and social wellness. I will address the potential strategies that I can use and also the potential challenges that will arise throughout my college career. The way the next three years go will most likely determine my future, having a plan is very important to my own success. A strategy I will use to keep my academics up is making monthly planners as we did in the beginning of this course. I found that by hanging my calendar for the month up at my desk, I was able to plan ahead for tests and assignments much better than before. A large challenge that is approaching in my academic life is the LSAT, over the next three years I cannot slip up when it comes to school. I have the goal of going to law school and it is imperative to work on my study habits so that I can succeed at the LSAT and with my GPA. Having a plan for attacking such a big goal will greatly help reduce the stress surrounding it, and hopefully make my academic wellness the best it can be. The greatest challenge surrounded my success academically will be the distractions of college life. I must set aside time to have fun and reward myself but I mustn’t lose sight of the overall goal. My father always told me as a kid that if I tried hard and did well in school, the rewards later in life would far outweigh the here and now.
