Everyone has a story, and this one is mine. As a child, assembling words was difficult for me. I had what they called a speech impediment. Entering school at a young age was not pleasant, repeating pre-kindergarten twice was worse. Growing up at a lower level of understanding was problematic, softball was my diversions from the pages of the books of the after-school work, yet some way or another that all changed. I never truly wanted to become a writer, at first my attention turned to becoming a veterinarian. It took me a while before I realized that I wanted to write. My freshman year of high school, reading emerged into to my life by a magnificent individual, my cousin, Vanessa. She gave me my first set of books written by a well-known writer,
James Patterson that opened my eyes to the universe of writing. I felt as if the words were gliding off the page and surrounded around me as a blanket comforting me. Safe is what I felt safe from the world. The book was my escape, my surroundings stood nonexistent to me. It was then that I discovered my passion for writing. I wanted to do what the authors accomplished, influencing the reader feel as though they existed in the book. The correct words can make us feel something and envision things we would not have thought of, that was my objective. I joined journalism clubs and classes, I even wrote for the Lely High School Newspaper. Going through high school my writing improved and afterward I began to write on my own. Composing short stories, poems and a book that as of now, I am still working on. I plan to follow my dreams and continue writing. Despite the fact that I am arranging some diverse things like photography and opening a shop like Starbucks, I will discover some way to fit writing in there. I mean I have been doing it my entire life and I didn't realize it. It has been a piece of my life for some time and I am not going to stop now.

There are many kinds of careers people can choose from, all with different salaries and different requirements to get there. Sometimes people are okay with jobs that are easier to get that do not require a lot of effort, but when you have the discipline required for a higher paying job you can live better off. I chose veterinarian as my career because it has a high paying salary, requires graduate schooling, the work days are full of challenges, and it lets you travel for the job.
Thirteen years ago, my father gave me a Beagle puppy for my birthday.
