Nursing Scholarship Essay

My intended goal after graduating from high school in just a couple of months is to be enrolled at Santa Ana community college where I will be taking my general education classes, and enlisting into a nursing program in order to obtain my associates degree in nursing. After completing these course I plan to transfer to Cal State Fullerton, where I will obtain my Bachelor of Science in nursing degree, to complete the requirements need to major as a Registered Nurse. Winning this scholarship will allow me to peruse my dreams in a way that it makes it easier for me and my family to pay the debt that will be included. I am the oldest out of five and I know that having to pay for my education and needs will be tough, therefore if I win the scholarship I will be able to help them out, winning the scholarship will allow me to be an example for my younger siblings as I will be the very first person in my family to go to college. I learned how to take responsibility at a very young age, when both of my parts had to go to work I would have to babysit my siblings on weekends, and take them to the babysitter on weekdays before I left for school. I had to do this for a long time, that I soon became a mother figure for them. However I would have liked to have spent my childhood differently, playing with friends, and going to the movies like all other kids my age did, but I look back to everything I had to go through that there’s time in which I glad to have had grown up so fast because I learned how to value the many things in life that others teenagers like me don’t have. I grew up the best parents I could have possibly asked for and I became the person I am
