Many people have visions about what their life with be like when they are at an older age, and what they are going to do with it once they get to that point. As children we all thought we would become a doctor of some kind, or a fireman, so if we were dreamers we would dream of fame and fortune. For me, I was unsure then and I still am mostly unsure today. Of course, dreams of fame and fortune still dance around in my head, I am mostly smart enough to realize that I will have to work towards that for a long time. Events in my life have shaped me into who I am today, and will more then likely guide me to be the person who I will turn into tomorrow. These events will allow me to discover who I am and who I want to be, and eventually they will lead me to discovering all of my goals that I want to achieve in life After high school I plan on attending Grand Rapids Community College. I choose Grand Rapid Community College not just because it was less expensive then a University, but because they offer a program for the career path that I have chosen to pursue. This particular Community College offers a three year program in training to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. In order to pay for those three years at the college I will take on at least one part time job where I will place at least seventy five percent of my check in a bank account which will go towards college. This schooling will cost around twenty thousand dollars when I am finished. I am confident that I will be able to achieve my goal at Grand Rapids Community College because of my family that will help support me through those three years. I plan on living with my parents until I am at least twenty, that way I know I will have a welcoming support system to fall b... ... middle of paper ... ...ng up now for an escapade of this size. In the mean time I plan on continuing to live in Michigan. I choose to live here so I can be close to my family. After the first year of my retirement-which would be spent traveling- I plan on either volunteering in a nursing home or veterinaries office depending on where I live. Many people have visions of what there life will be when they are older. Some wish to become fire fighters, or doctors. I on the other hand would love to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Traveling and writing will become a huge part of my life in the later years but for now I would just like to focus on helping others. Both Belding High School, and Grand Rapids Community College will play a huge role in my success. Family, friends, and everyone I love will always be there to support me. With their help I plan on achieving something great.
I came from Egypt in 2012 with a dream to become a successful person and going to college will be the first step to achieve this dream. And my experience in high school and doing a lot of research on the internet made it easy for me to choose the major that I chose (computer engineering),especially the area where I live in. The median salary of computer engineer in San Francisco bay area is $122,000. And I’m planning on just doing the bachelor degree and then find a job after that. I will not have to pay back a lot of debt because I am not going to take any loans in my 4 years in college. I will rely on the scholarships and the financial aid that I’m going to take from San Francisco State university and from the federal government. And even if I did take any loans, it will be worth it by looking at my salary in the
Later in life when I have a job of my own I hope to become like my grandfather and get a job and make it my life. Also I hope that once I find my goal that nothing will stop like the miners in Crown of Dust.
Growing up I had always been asked the infamous question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", and my answer had always been a shrug or a simple "I don 't know yet". If I was asked the same question now, I could confidently and very passionately say, "I want to be a doctor; a humanitarian who brings positive change in someone 's life.". It seems like a very general statement but I truly hope to one day become somebody who can use her expertise and profession to help others.
There are many things that I hope to accomplish and do when I get older. I want to improve and accomplish different things for myself in my career that I choose, in my material goals, and spiritually. I'm looking at the year of 2009, I will be out of college and be on my feet, hopefully. I have high expectations for myself and hope to accomplish as many of my dreams and goals as I can throughout my life.
The lessons I have learned in my life from both my parents and life experiences have fully prepared me to excel in college. Being a part of honors classes and taking multiple advanced placement classes I believe I am very ready for the workload to come ahead. After college I hope to fulfill not only my dream, but also my parent’s dream, of seeing myself become a successful dentist or doctor so I could accomplish all of my other life goals. I hope to be able to build a life and future for myself in
As a senior in high school many students ponder the big question of life that seems to be asked by many. No that question is not where do you want to go to college, what are you doing after high school, that question would be where do you see yourself in ten years. As I reflect on my childhood I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goal accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
A Plan For Life “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” – Alan Lakein. We all envision ourselves having a successful future; with four cars in our garage, a white picket fence and green grass as far as the eye can see. Yet, for most of us that's a far fetched dream, only obtainable when we close our eyes and dream of fame and fortune. Yet I believe if you want something bad enough and are willing to work relentlessly to achieve said task, anything is possible.
As an adult, I have numerous personal goals. Most importantly, I would like to own a home. Also, I would like to pursue my interests of water-sports by owning a boat and my long love of cars by owning a sports car. Other personal interests that will affect my years after college are my love for the outdoors and the thrill of traveling to many new places throughout the world.
Financial support from my family and the small amount that the government offers will not be a great help in funding my college education. Because of this, my financial needs are very high. All of my life I have strived to achieve my goals through hard work and determination. While in high school, I have taken advanced honors courses that include Anatomy, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. Over the course of the past four years, I have worked exorbitantly to maintain a 4.0 GPA and to obtain an above average ACT score.
Thirty years from now, I want to be able to say that I graduated college with a Chemical Engineering degree, and went to work straight out of college. Currently, I wish to work in an industrial setting, preferably at a pharmaceutical company. Moreover, I hope that my future self will say that I have grown as a person and have different flaws than I do now, but I hope that I will continue to enjoy helping others all throughout my life. Even as I as I am challenged, I hope that I will be able to look back and see that I am stronger than I was before, and have hope that the next day will be even better than the one before. As I go away to college and leave my parents, I want to continue to grow in my Faith. Most importantly, I hope that I am happy and satisfied in everything I do.
That is the big question; what do I want to do after I graduate from high school. Growing up there were several things I wanted to be. An astronomer, youtuber, dancer, teacher. Now I have ideas on what I want to do after high school but I am still just a junior.
Many people tend to set goals. They can set goals for their personal life, academics, or even for their professional lives. You can literally set a goal for pretty much anything you can imagine. I believe that people should set goals, they help you stay focused and want to do better for the future. Goals change all of the time though, because of a lot of different reasons, maybe you found that one thing just really is not what you want to do with your life, so you find something else to do. To me that is just how life is, my goals will most likely change as I am getting older and trying to find what I want to do with the rest of my life.
