I plan to observe a small group of LPN nurses. I want to observe them because this may or not be my future I am very interested in the way they act and how they came to do what they do. The girls I'll be observing mean a lot to me and with 1 in particular I have become extremely close. Brittany, Sam, and Jen all LPN nurses and all I'll get to see and observe weekly. I am interested in their home life as well as how they act in the workplace I plan to observe them in a variety of settings with different patients. The main one being Allison Rose, Allison is a student at mead high school with Rett's syndrome and she has some of the most beautiful eyes you will ever see. They all get very attached to their patients and I wonder how they cope with losing patients. Even how they find time to themselves, what their family thinks of their job and work hours. My plan for research is fairly simple just get to know them and experience their everyday lives with multiple different nurses, settings, companies just as much variety as possible so I really get a crystal clear idea of what I might be getting into. I would like to observe them in a variety of settings, for example in a patient's home because nine times out of ten they are at home nurses and go to their patients or in a hospital and get to see how that different setting would be, or private practice,and even observing what they do when in schools with patients. Majority of my research will come from LPN nurses that perform in home nursing. For example Jen, Brittany, and Sam all pick Allison up from home ride the bus with her and attend to her needs throughout the school day and then continue home with Allison until their shift is done. They tend to work a lot and really long hours because their patients require supervision and care around the clock. LPN nurses can work in a variety of settings, in a hospital or group home, in home with patients, even in schools helping children. I plan to observe and research each of these settings and other nurses besides Jen, Brittany, and Sam. I hope to
