New Year’s Resolutions!
Many people feel that resolutions are just goals that are not important to keep however, have you ever noticed the people who actually keep it. They seemed more cheerful and excited with life especially to themselves. Wouldn’t you want to feel that joy inside you knowing that you have accomplished something? My New Year’s resolutions are quiet ordinary and similar to many kids at my age. Today, I started coming up with three resolutions the first has to deal with being scholarly, then the community, and lastly personal resolutions.
I turned back to think of what I should accomplish that has to deal with school. I think of my problem that I have, which is completing my work at the last minute. The first step that will help me in this resolution to be infallible are by being organized each day. To do this I would try to have a proper agenda where I should write my meeting, activities, and my homework so that everything is in one place. With that said, I would be able to finish all my tasks each day and find extra time for not doing all of my assignments to the last minute. Next, I can ask my teachers to give me the assignments that are going to be due soon because then I would be able to do it ahead of time. This would benefit me and in my life by being able to have extra time to do my activities and hanging out with friends. This could also benefit me in the future by making me a better person who accomplishes her work throughout obstacles. My New Year’s resolution does not just consist with school, but with our community too.
My second New Year’s Resolution has to do with our community. I think of all that is happening in our community that needs to be fixed right away. One m...

As you may know New Year’s Resolutions are goals that you desire to come true with lots of work and effort. A New Year's resolution is basically a commitment that a person makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. People committing themselves to a New Year's resolution generally plan to do so for the whole following year. This lifestyle change is generally interpreted as advantageous. I am hoping my resolutions come true and help me understand life more as it keeps going. My resolutions have to again deal with scholarly, than community, and lastly personal resolutions.
...ing a family, having someone who cares about you and love you is all that you will ever need in this world.
We have done a great job meeting our goals as a council so far. As an Executive Board, we encourage you all to set your own goals this week as well. Whether it's an A on quiz or test, limiting procrastination this week or giving your 100% in everything you do, find places where you can set your goals high and meet those goals.
My Idea of family honestly didn't begin until I agreed to marriage and children. Until that moment, in my laxity, I hadn't even considered the many aspects and values a family should consist of. My experience needless to say, laid in shattered pieces long before I took over the reins of raising myself and built a blockade fortress of stoicism. In all seriousness, I often considered never having a relationship, thinking I was incapable of possessing the experience it would take to pursue such an endeavor. Needless to say, I didn't say 'yes' the first time. In spite of this, I did marry; yet my idea of family was built without preconceived ideologies. I've done what I felt was nurturing and beneficial for my children both environmentally and educationally. All in all, my family is successful though we are a work in progress. I'm often overly diligent in their wellbeing out of my heightened need for them what I never had; the experience of a wonderful family that sets the basis for a successful life when life beyond the days of a dreamy child are a hardship all their own. Family relationships, be it any form, is as always a work in progress, yet, with the fiction work of Cathedral by Raymond Carver and with Langston Hughes' poem Mother To Son, we see those with steadfast nerves and unwavering determination can succeed in this precious and challenging undertaking.
...r realize the need for a family, even for one that has been alone since creation. Every being deserves someone to love and someone to love them.
Enrique, J. et al (2007), states that the family is the littlest unit of a general public and, subsequently, evaluative to its improvement and support. There are four primary matter in the development of a family: mate choice, spousal connections, child rearing, and change.
Having a family is no easy task, especially when you are faced with many challenges that are unforeseen. Sometimes one imagines or hopes for an ideal family. The ideal family would consist of a spouse, one or two kids and live happily with little to no conflicts. The reality is that even if one tries to avoid conflict by all possible means, conflict is inevitable. Stressors and strengths within a family can be seen in almost every situation. Although stressors tend to be more noticeable than the strengths. Some of which will be discussed later on, although it will be mainly focused on the strength and stressors faced after a divorce for children. But if one focuses on the stressors more than the strengths, one will only see stressors rather than solutions.
I would tell myself that I will finish my work after I go out with my friends. I would come back home feeling really tired and tell myself that I will finish it next morning. Underestimating the amount of time that was required to complete an assignment was a thing I regretted after I looked at my clock and saw that it’s 2 AM. For some courses, I did not take notes in class as I believed that reading the information in the textbook was enough. I recently realized that if I would’ve taken notes in class, I would’ve been more engaged and interested in the material I’m learning, as I would process it in my mind as I’m writing. In the future, before taking any decisions that affect my academic success, I will re-evaluate my priorities and confront myself about my choices. Setting targets, such as having a dream board, will inspire me to push through any barriers that I might encounter. Setting a certain amount of time to spend on an assignment and finishing it ahead of time will give me a chance to reward myself to feel appreciated. I will stop negative thoughts from taking over my mind by thinking of another helpful thought to develop a positive and confident mind that is looking for accomplishments. I will remind myself that procrastination will only result in me having a frown on my face when I get my results at the end of the semester. I will break the tasks into small chunks that will make the workload seem

As the year goes on, I am sure I will have my goals set for me to accomplish as well. I can say I am a strong, independent girl who stands up for herself and I never let anyone run over me. I may seem like a mean person, but I am far from that unless you make me become the mean me.
This year, I have set the bar high for myself. I want to be a successful student so I can do well in high school. As I prepare, I have a few goals I want to reach academically, athletically, and religiously. I will do my best to not fail any quizzes or tests, win my volleyball league, and pray every day. I may not reach my goals, but if I work hard and try my best at all the goals I wish to reach, that will be success for me. I hope I can become a better student, volleyball player, Catholic, and most of all, a better person.
important is to be happy with what you do have and that family is what makes happiness.
Marriage and family life has been changing over the past few decades. Not only has the idea of family and marriage changed, but the way marriage and family are perceived has changed. With the transition from modern times to postmodern times, the typical life has developed in to more of an isolated society, than ever before. The concept of unity and close ties has become almost nonexistent, with the development and progression of technology. Communication has become less personal and less intimate, eliminating the idea of creativity. With the elimination of creativity, because of the development of less personal communication, the chances of meeting someone has become less personal and mo...
As the year 2014 came to an end, I was at a point in my “coming of age” where I decided to make a life changing decision for myself. I had several friendships and relationships that were tested by hardships of trust and communication. With the chance to start fresh with a whole year and a whole new semester ahead of me at school, I decided to make a New Year’s Resolution that I would stick with. I’m not talking about a work
Growing up, goals change dramatically. A five-year olds goal is to get the coloring page done. As people go through school, goals obviously change. A freshman’s goal may be to learn the school so he or she doesn’t get lost. Senior’s goals grow to finding where they will spend the next four years or what kind of career they will grow upon. Then, of course goals continue to change as people get older and enter into different stages of life. In this essay, I am going to talk about how my goals in different aspects of my life and how they have transformed, what they are currently, and what they may turn into in the future.
